On 2-18-23, I took my Tahoe to Tires Plus, *******, ** for a tire rotation. My ********* ********** of Corrections Employee ID was in my deep "holder" where I store it when I'm not at work. I know for a fact it was there, because I briefly looked over my personal items before leaving my car locked and entering their store. I thought my items would be safe, as my vehicle was locked and this is an established business. Hours later I picked up my Tahoe, As I drove away, I immediately saw my ID was gone. I called the store, spoke with Asst. ******* *****, who said he knew nothing about my ID. About 20 min later, he called and left voicemail, saying they "found" my ID in parking lot. There is absolutely no way, my ID would have fallen out of this deep, middle holder in my truck. I asked ***** for *******s number. He initially gave me a completely wrong number, for a ****** who has never worked at Tires Plus. I re-called the store again, and finally was given store manager ****** number. I called ****** and left voicemail on 2/18. On 2/19/23, ****** called me and said "I'll admit that store needs alot of work." He said he was going on a site visit the next day, Monday 2/20. He said he would follow up with me Monday at 5pm. He never called. I messaged him next day, he said I have my kids tonight, can I call you tomorrow. I said yes. He never did. I have called 3 times since, and him 3 voicemails and NOT once has he called me back. I then called the customer service number online, and the lady there said she would escalate the issue with management and have them call me. They have not called either. I have called customer service 2x now, and can not speak with management about my issue. Customers should be able to trust their belongings when they take their vehicles in. I'm lucky I didn't have any money for them to steal. If I wouldn't have received my ID back, it would have been a big deal I would have had to file an incident report My ID is my way to enter State Prison.
