We took our venison meat to them on 1/22/22 after deciding to try some place new. We were required to put half the money down - $105.00. We asked when our hot sticks would be ready and they really couldn't say, maybe a few months but they weren't committing. It is now August 17 and after calling numerous times, they still will not give us an answer. Each time they mentioned having difficulty getting casings and they told us they were getting to our order number. Twice they were in the same number range when we called. My husband called today and they said they would get back to him in an hour. NO call, he called back and was told the SAME thing about casings and they are getting to our order number. After thinking about it, and realizing it was now 7 months, he called back and said he wanted his money back. They said they were getting to us and would call. There is never any sort of apology and they are not friendly when dealing with them. We decided to contact you because we honestly do not think we are going to see our money or or venison any time soon and before long it will be hunting season again. We took our other half of our venison to another sausage kitchen and received it in 3 months.Business response

3/3/2022-Called ******* Sausage Shoppe and spoke to the owner. They have a Hog Processing Cut sheet that has been online for over a year that says the cost for whole or half hog processing is $.99/lb. Owner said that is not correct and the cost is actually $1.39/lb. I asked her if she would honor the advertised cost and she said no. This is misrepresentation and =inflated costs not associated with the advertised price. She said the cut sheet was not updated but this is the same response I received over a year ago by the owner. Irresponsible owner at best and I will not shop there or spend my hard earned money on anything from this Shoppe.Business response
