On October 31, 2023, I contacted ****** Halle and told him I had found a new place to live and asked that he use my security deposit to cover any days that I occupied his residence in November. Told him I would have the place clean and move in ready for his next tenants. November 12, I contacted ***** and asked if I would be getting any of my deposit back. He said he would have to check everything out. On Wednesday November 15, I was cleared out of the house. With $1200 security deposit and only 15 days spent in the residence for the month even at $40, that is only $600.00. I was never informed of any abnormal damages that were charged to meBusiness response

******************* gave me notice to vacate **** superior Av on October 31 2023. She stated she would be moving through the month of November and she would not be paying rent and I should take it out of her deposit. 30 day notice would be Nov 31 2023. She still had things in garage on November 30 2023 that I had to remove . November rent not paid **** deposit ****. She really owes me 75$ for removal and disposalCustomer response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
On November 12, 2023 I let ***** know that I would be finished up at the house. I asked him then if he was planning to give any of my deposit back to which he stated he had to check everything out. The items he removed from the garage were left on my neighbors side of the garage with her permission until I could come and get them. When I finally found my neighbor at home and stopped, she said that ***** had taken them already.

Tenant still had lawn mower and lawn furniture in garage tenant next door told me on nov 30 things where still there so I had remove them and November was 30 days after notice given on or around November 12 I gave tenant 150$ for her washer and dryer I purchased that she did not want to move

This still does not account for the fact that I was out by November 12 and specifically asked if i would receive any of my deposit back and was told everything would have to be checked out. I never received any not of the rest of the deposit being applied to damages of any kind.
