  service was done from 11 20 2022 t0 12-2-200. I took my **** F350 into have new brake pads put in. was told I needed new calipers, rotors and lines also. I was told should not be to bad around $600. to $800. dollars. I said OK. did not get a written estimate. That was a mistake. After a week of stalling around they got the work done. I call them and they said the bill would be $1,300. dollars and I supplied the new calipers and rotors from the local Carquest store. Here is the kicker. They did the work, backed the **** out that night. and someone sawed the catalytic converter out it. They do NOT have any outside cameras and said they are not responsible. I had to file a police report and pay for this repair myself. They have NO signs warning the public that are not responsible for stollen or damaged vehicles.. They would Not give me their business insurance carriers name. I have to pay for this myself.

  Business states that they are not responsible for any damage that occurs to vehicles outside of their building, their insurance will only cover acts of God. The consumer will need to follow up with their own insurance company.

  I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
  Hovlands has cameras and insurance for cars left inside their building. So they do have business insurance. There are NO sing warning the public that they are not responsible for cars left on their property.  You need to get the insurance company name and ask them what kind of coverage they have. Do Not just take Hovlands response that they do not have insurance coverage. Hovelands does not want to file a claim on their insurance policy.  They want people to file a claim on their own insurance policy.
