I purchased a Hayward valve for my sand filter from Cooper's pool for $125.00 over a year ago. I contacted Coopers within a week of the purchase due to the faulty valve releasing to much water when trying to engage the valve to backflush. Coopers told me this was normal . Since then I have contacted Coopers five other times explaining my issue. I am told this is the way the valve functions and me knowing better. I finally contacted Hayward this week and they told me that the place I purchased this valve at was wrong. It should only release what's in the lines and no more. I have tried with Coopers to resolve this issue and feel like they do not want to admit they are wrong. I wanted a replacement when I purchased it but keep getting told this valve SHOULD run like that when Hayward tells me I am correct and they do not understand why Coopers tells me I am incorrect .Business response

BRENDA ***** - THE PRODUCTS IN WHICH SHE IS REFERRING TO, IS WARRANTY BY HAYWARD CO.
WE DO NOT HAVE THIS NAME IN OUR SYSTEM FOR AN INVOICE - BUT COULD HAVE BEEN A CASH REGISTER RECEIPT, IN THIS CASE, THE PART WILL NEED TO BE RETURNED, SO WE CAN VERIFY DATE CODE ON UNIT, AS WELL AS INSPECT DEVICE TO MAKE THERE IS A PROBLEM, IN THE MANUFACTORING OF THE UNIT. AS WELL AS TO MAKE SURE UNIT WASNT DAMAGED DURING INSTALLATION, WHICH WOULD CAUSE NO WARRANTY - BEING DAMAGED DURING INSTALLATION -
WITH RECEIPT IN HAND IF WARRANY IS ACCEPTED, UNIT WOULD BE EXCHANGED, FOR ANOTHER SAME ITEM ONLY
