  I purchased items from Moutain Chic Boutique on September 13, 2022 in the amount of $264.29. I specifically asked the sales associate the return policy as I was purchasing items as a gift for my daughter she stated 14 days with receipt and tags still attached. On September 22,2022 I went to Moutain Chic Boutique to return the items with my original receipt and the tags still attached to the clothing and was told by 2 of the sales associated oh I'm sorry we can only give you a store gift card I then stated I specifically asked your return policy and was told within 14 days original receipt with tags attached they said yes you are within the 14 days and we used to have a sign in the store but it has been taken down for some reason. I said that sign was not here when I was here on September 13, 2022 and there's nothing on my receipt that states that I want to speak to the owner. They said Jessica should have already been there which was at 4 pm on September 22, 2022 and she should be there any minute. Your store closes at 5 pm . I then made a post to Mountain Chic Boutique Facebook page just asking 1 of the owners to please call me with my phone number posted ************* On September 22, 2022 at 5:00 pm Jessica store owner called me and said well you are within the 14 day period and tags are still attached but our policy states on store credit. I said I specifically asked the sales associate your return policy and she said 14 days with receipt and tags attached or I wouldn't have even purchased anything a take the risk of something not fitting properly or possible weather changes. She said I'm willing to work with you and I said you aren't because you only want to give me store credit in which I don't want. I said nowhere on my receipt or in the store does it state store gift card for returns and she said normally the sign would be in the store but I took it down to revise it and you just happen to come in at the times the sign wan't posted.
