[Order #******** (February 18, 2021) I was told this order was backordered. I paid $10 to hold my place in line. I received emails for several months asking if I wanted to keep my place in line for the back order. It has been over two years now since I placed the order for this item. On 6/25/2020 I purchased a backordered rifle from Anthony's for $721.99 (Order #*******) I cancelled and requested a refund on 5/2/2022 and they confirmed the refund on 6/25/2022, However, I am still waiting on the funds, I have tried contacting the store numerous times over the past five months via email and phone with no response.Customer response

I purchase 3 items on backorder *********** ***** ***** 1,000 rounds of 55 gr 5.56 ammo with can, and 1,000 rounds 62 gr 5.56 ammo with can (orders ******** ******** ******** on Sept 19, Sept 24, Nov 11 2020, paying full price. This totals $1,790.36. They claim I can request a refund at any time. I have been trying to get a refund since mid June this year. First they say "checks are only cut on Fridays, and it will take 3-4 weeks to be processed." Their 1st promise was 7/11, saying "checks were delayed and they will be processed Friday". After 2 weeks and me emailing " The person in charge has been unavoidably unavailable. Checks will be mailed between this Friday and the next.". 8/3 and another inquiry and the reply 8/4 "I apologize for the delay, sir. Please give me some time to really look into this and get back to you as soon as possible", Another week and email from me and on 8/9 "I apologize for the delay, sir. Please give me some time to really look into this and get back to you as soon as possible". 2 weeks go by, I ask again, and on 8/24 "I want to apologize again for the delay and assure you that I'm staying on this issue until it's resolved. I'll get back to you by the end of the week.". 8/31 I email with no response, 9/2 I get 3 emails saying the checks were processed (asking for 7-14 business days for delivery) but I received nothing. Multiple emails and they say "the checks were processed" but I have not received them. Today I received another email saying "We truly apologize for the inconvenience, sir. The refund check has been sent already and we have to look into why it hasn't been delivered to your address. If necessary, we would send another. We'll be getting back to you as soon as possible". So, just keep on waiting and we will keep on lying. This company takes 100% payment for items that I believe they have no intention of fulfilling. I have no faith I will ever receive my money back without help. I have been patient for over 2 years.Initial Complaint

Order # ******* was placed and fully paid for with the company on June 27, 2020. Item ordered was a ***** *** .410 shotgun and was in stock at the time of placing the order. The item showed not in stock on backorder the very next day. For OVER two years, I patiently waited, and waited and waited. Supply chain issues and COVID-19 pandemic related causes not withstanding, the company charged my CC and kept my money which was $697.84. Finally I gave up and cancelled my order. Thus far Ive made three attempts to resolve this issue, I was first told by a customer representative that I would receive a refund in full, I explained to them that the credit card used to place my order was no longer valid (cancelled) to which I was told a check would be sent to my address on file if they could not issue a refund to the original form of payment. This was around the end of June 2022. The representative hung up on me / disconnected the chat and No check was received. The second time, I contacted the company thru their online chat function again, explained the entire issue again, and was told that the person who was designated to authorize and refund was unavailable, this time the customer representative noted on the account the following: “Monday 25th of July 2022, 11:35am A refund check has been created for this order and will be sent to the address on file. Please allow 7-14 business days for it to arrive. Thank You.” Yesterday August the 16th I received check #**** in the mail for $672.84 which is $25 LESS than the amount they owed me. For the third time I again contacted the company via their online chat function, explained the entire problem again as follows and was told they needed to pay a person to research the issue, make sure it wasn’t previously paid plus they needed to charge for postage and handling to get the check mailed. This is ********! *** has updated their policies on order pmt, cancellation, refunds. I just want ALL my $ back as I was told they would do ! ! !Customer response

At this time, I have not been contacted by Anthony - Industries LLC regarding complaint ID ********. I’ve tried contacting them but nobody answers the phone, their chat feature rarely works and after further investigation ********* ******** ********* is nothing but a front for a half baked drop shipper who routinely lies about the true nature of his business. They should be fined and arrested for misleading and illegal business practices.

Anthony's firearm warehouse never sent my order, after 6 months of it being on " backorder" I called to cancel, they said their " credit card processor was down" and would send me a check in the mail for refund. 6 months later and 3 phone calls and 2 chats, with them promising to "send out another check to tomrrow" There has been no check. purchased 2 shotguns from them back in 2020. the shotguns were on backorder and was told weekly by their email that when they come back in stock they would ship my order....well here we are 2 years later and and they wouldn't honor the price i had already paid and told me i need to pay more for them or they wouldn't ship it...anyway that went back and forth a little while trying to get them to honor the contract.....finally i just told them i wanted a refund. a couple week of them jerking me around they (supposedly) sent out my refund....here we are 2 weeks later and still no check...once again they lied to me about that to try and get me off their backs....they owe me $1100 dollarsInitial Complaint

11/30/2020 Paid $2,069.96 for a firearm...received weekly emails stating that my item was on backorder and to be patient, it will be shipped. firearm was never shipped. Contacted *** several times with immediate response ...be patient your order will be shipped. 5/12/22 requested refund and several times since then. *** is a RIPOFF..... they will not return your funds....their website shows they are rated "A+" with ***, however they are currently rated "F" with ***, so they don't care about committing fraud with *** either.Initial Complaint

*****BUYER BEWARE***** Anthony’s Firearm Warehouse also known as AP Defense LLC Previously known as Anthony-Industries LLC is a ****SCAM FFL**** They aren’t a warehouse it is just a drop shipper who low balls pricing on items, states they are in stock and after receiving payment sends weekly emails advising the item is out of stock and you will receive as soon as possible but order can be canceled anytime with full refund. I FELL FOR IT!!! I am writing this review to inform my fellow online purchasers to beware. Most people don’t search for reviews on multiple websites if any. I will be posting this on every website I can possibly find to inform as many people as possible. Here is my personal story: I purchased a firearm on October 30, 2020; cost was $485 + $6.99 Shipping = $491.99 Total. I received weekly emails for about 4 months, then bi weekly for about 6 months, then once a month for the next few months. On February 1, 2022 I finally decided this was way too long of a wait and cancelled for a full refund as promised from the time of purchase and with every email since. On February 11 2022, I sent my first email requesting status on the refund. On February 13, 2022 I received a system generated email stating that the credit card refund did not go thru for the full amount of $491.99 in addition to a separate email from Vanessa (Customer Service Support) claiming that the backorder refunds are having a problem in their system that I could use it as a credit for something else or wait for 3 to 4 weeks for the refund to arrive. I replied NO I wanted the full refund and will wait for the 3 to 4 weeks. On April 2, two months after cancelling my order and a month and a half after the email conversation with Vanessa I again requested a status on my refund. On April 4 I received a response that a check was mailed on April 1 and it would take 7 to 10 business days to arrive. On April 6 I received a check for $466.99 it was short $25 to my surprise. I emailed Vanessa and received a response the next day that the $25 charge is for “POSTAGE COSTS”. WHAT THE HELL ARE “POSTAGE COSTS”.
I replied that I demanded a full refund and to this day have not received a response. In that final email I asked “How many customers are they doing this to?” as stated before, no response as of yet.
I then went online and have found out that this company has been doing this to many buyers and making $25 a piece for no service or product. *****SCAMMING AS MANY CUSTOMERS AS POSSIBLE, PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS FRAUDLENT COMPANY*****DON’T FALL FOR IT!!!!!!!!!!!!Customer response

I was told I would receive a refund of $750 for a cancelled order and it has been three months and they just keep making up excuses not to send the refund. Also, the representative will not just issue a refund to my original payment method. She will only send a check which she has said is in the mail three times and then says “I need to wait and they are working on it.”
