Ordered an gun through their online store, that said is was available and when I entered my credit card information and press send I received and email that is was back ordered. I sent numerous emails regarding when this would ship and they continued to string me along. I finally canceled my order in November and they said they would give me a store credit and after some thought I decided that I wanted a full refund of the $667.64 that I spent. They said it would be 30 days for the check to be cut which would make it November 30th. It is now February and still no check and as of last week they are now not returning my emails. They claim to be a veteran owned business which was the main reason I used them because I felt that they have some honor.

I’m August of 2020 I backordered an item from Anthony’s firearm warehouse. My credit card was charged $697.84 at this time. The company constantly sent emails out stating that my order is still backordered and will be shipped once it comes back in stock. Approximately a year later I decided to purchase it from somewhere else as I have been seeing it in stock and attempted to get a refund from them. The company stated to me that they were unable to process my refund and they would send a check to me. After not receiving a check I contacted them again and they said they would send another one out. No refund was ever received from them.

On 9/29/2020 I ordered a rifle from Anthony's Firearms, (***** ********) and was charged $730.44 on my credit card. I would get e-mails every couple of weeks from them stating that the item was on back-order. In August, 2021, I tried to cancel the order but could not contact the company via phone nor would their website take a cancellation. On 9/20/2021, I finally contacted a company rep named ***** via internet chat room. I asked for a refund and ***** said that a check would be issued in a week or two. On 10/27/2021, I again contacted a rep via chat room,(no one ever answers at the 800phone #) and I was again told a refund would be mailed. On 11/10/2021 I again chatted with ***** and was promised a refund check which I have not received. At this point I think this company may be fraudulent and have stolen my money with no intention to refund it. I have since contacted the **** ******** ******** ******* to report consumer fraud and grand theft.

On August 19th 2020 I place order # ******* with Anthonys Firearm Warehouse for a Colt Python Revolver totaling ($1,332.99). This item was on backorder. I paid in full and the policy at the time of purchase was that a full refund could be had at anytime by logging in and canceling my order. Upon cancelling my order, on October 18th I received an email that the refund card processing failed. It then took approximately 45 days for me to receive a paper check in the mail. It was less $25 of the original cost ($1,307.99). The customer service rep told me there is a fee for paper check refunds. They essentially changed the practice without giving me prior notice to cancel my order for a full refund. I had no control over their credit card payment system experiencing issues that forced them to use a traditional paper check. I ordered in good faith and waited over a year with no action on my backorder. I see that their new policy is to not charge people the whole price of a firearm when on backorder, but rather a $10 non refundable fee. Charging this fee that was never communicated to me until after the fact and it caused me financial harm. I would like my $25 refunded. Emails attached of the order, policy on refunds prior to a language change removing 100% and after. My transcript with customer service is also attached. The $25 fee was communicated to me in a chat window. That transcript is also attached.
