I purchased a brand new Subaru Forester Wilderness in the middle of December 2022. On March 16 of 2023, I received correspondence from the company stating that they could not transfer my tags from the trade-in because the trade-in was not in my name. The employee stated that she would get my full registration in the mail next week. I waited until June of 23 with no contact from any individual from the company. After inquiring about the status of my registration, the dealership stated that they were "not allowed" to complete handling my registration because the dealership is under new ownership. Instead, I was directed towards the Division of Motor Vehicles to complete the transaction. Part of the business exchange when I purchased the vehicle was to transfer the tags. I would request that the business contact me and work out next steps accordingly.Customer response
