I contracted Carl's Handyman Service to put a rubber roof on my carport back in the summer of 2021. I gave him a deposit to buy materials and he said it would be a month or two before he could start. The job was not started until August 2021. I paid him $5000 cash to make the repairs that took him several months to get to. The work was shabby and my carport still leaks and there is an open gap. I have many text messages that show that I requested for him to come out and fix the leak and all I got was lies about when he would be out and then excuses about the missed dates and then no contact. He does not accept my calls. I feel I was taken advantage of and overcharged. He never did put the panels back up that finished the underside of the carport. It looks terrible. I want the leak and the gap fixed. He said he guaranteed his work but that was also a lie. My carport is still unfinished.
