            BBB received a Scam Tracker report from a consumer about Can - Us Expert Tek Solutions Inc. .The consumer alleges they paid for their services to update their GPS but realized that they did not want to continue and asked for a refund. The consumer was not able to get a refund and contacted the BBB.

             BBB started an investigation and reached out to the business with letters on September 14, 2020 and September 23, 2020 to understand the allegations and their refund policy. BBB also confirmed on October 6, 2020 with the City of Surrey that the city does not have any records of this company. 

             As of November 6, 2020, BBB has not received a response from Can - Us Expert Tek Solutions Inc. The website for the company, https://canusexperttek.com/ is still active.

            I called what was listed as an Avast Tech Support number. It was instead Can-US Tech Support. They kept telling me they were Avast. They wanted $299.99 to install a firewall (for one year). After letting them access my computer, I got suspicious and finally turned everything off. They have been calling angrily since that time. I have no idea how deep the scam goes, but they will have accounts and pw numbers and more. Again, when I asked if they were Avast, they said yes.
