I have been a customer of Ceridian for 10 years and have found a different payroll provider that betters suits the companies needs. Throughout the years the customer service has been mediocre at best but the system was user friendly and did what I needed it to do. We added Dayforce a couple years back to add a Timeclock and Time and Attendance process to help automate the payroll process. With this we had to add and remove employees to two different platforms which was annoying but didn't want to go through the additional work and costs of switching to a different provider.
Now that we have made the move Ceridian is being difficult in cancelling telling me that they didn't receive enough notice to cancel (I emailed and canceled 6 months in advance to avoid this trouble) and they wanted to charge me for additional months. After clearing that up I requested 1 month of extended access just in case I needed to look back for information it would be useful. This came at a cost of $1,725! I found it high but thought it necessary...well they slipped in a cancellation clause and now want to charge me for 2 additional months of extended access because I didn't formally cancel on Jan 1.
