My Specific Concern is having a debt from TD Auto Finance going to collections and affecting my credit. I am currently trying to buy a house and need this removed to support those efforts. Instantly upon the logging of this bad debt on my credit report I submitted a dispute to both ******* and ********** - ********** REMOVED this discrepancy from my credit report. On multiple occasions TD did NOT even get back to ******* to resolve this matter. I have a document from the bank showing loan closed and paid full. however they sent me to collections for 4XX.XX dollars. My frustration grows as throughout the process i have been assured a favorable outcome and then not received it. Further to that time is a consideration of a fair outcome. At every level of escalation they have missed their own deadlines in providing a response. This include the TD ombudsmanBusiness response

I have repeatedly fought with this company about NOT being behind in my payments. Yes, 2 were missed BUT were paid up above and beyond according to my records, after they begun taking action to repo my vehicle. I spoke to agents repeatedly and confirmed all of the information, including confirming my payment date, account number and amounts. I stopped them for being authorized to debit my account any further and added them as a payee to my "bills" so I could better track the payments I AM making on the date due! They continue to harrass me and suggest I am 29 days past due on a payment. When in fact I am currently +$0.82. I have repeatedly requested a copy of the payment history that they have on file so that I can also compare it to my records... that never comes. Instead multiple phone calls continue and I continue to argue they are WRONG. Bought a 2014 **** ***** ******** March 2019 and agreed on $203 bi-weekly payments now with only 24 months left on the loan TD auto raised my payments to $207 bi-weekly. How can they change the terms of the agreements without my OK? I never missed a payment, late on a payment etc. I would like them to return to the original agreement of $203.00 bi-weekly I signed in March 30, 2019.Business response

*** ******** ********* March 8th I went to the closest TD Branch to pay out my vehicle loan I had requested the pay out amount from the branch which was $11,414.17 (**** * ** *********** I also made a phone call to TD Auto Finance following the branch visit on March 8th. This call verified the pay out balance of $11,414.17 was correct. Apparently they record the conversations so this should be verifiable if they are willing to provide evidence. A few weeks after this payout was made, they called me asking for another $360.00 (approximately) stating that this was interest! When I ask for a payout balance on that day I expect that to be the total and not change their mind after the fact. I asked to hear the recording of the day I called in to verify the amount and they refused. I told them I had a copy from the bank indicating the payout as well and that never seemed to concern them. A previous call from TD Auto Finance however asked to send a copy of the statement but later said they didn't need it. No question that TD Auto finance made an error and they are still after the customer to collect more money despite giving me the payout balance of $11,414.17 As a matter of principal this amount of $360.00 (approximately) should be written off by TD Auto Finance. Customer Asssistance department spoke with the customer and spoke with their supervisor. Customer owes balance of 442.46$ but with TM approval, customer can make 400$ and we will waive the balance remaining. Agent called customer but went to voicemail. no call back received from cs
