            Contacted this contractor for drywall repairs. Sent photos of the job and spoke over the phone about details. He scheduled a time to come do the job but he ultimately cancelled that appointment at last minute with only 30min notice. When he finally did show, he did not prep the area by laying tarps or taping off area needing drywall which caused damages to my floors. He then proceeded to take at least 4 trips to the hardware store during the job which delayed progress. Finally upon getting ready to leave after one day of work (which I was originally told would take 5 hours total), he asked for triple the agreed upon price for the job. I asked for a breakdown of the increased costs, and he failed to provide the information or a reasonable explanation as to why the job cost spiked so much. Simply noting the trips to the hardware store should be on my dime. He ultimately never returned to finish the job.

            I have tried to reach out to the customer to resolve the matter or refund them but the customers refused to respond or answer the phone. This is their second complaint without trying to answer my calls. The customers wont give me a chance to talk to them and rectify the situation. I had to drive 6 hours plus go to get more materials for 350 dollars labor and materials. The store was an hour and a half away for the materials. The original price was an over the phone estimate and once I arrived I saw that the job would require more materials. I repeatedly tried to clean but the customers refused and stated that they would clean themselves. If they would get on the phone we could determine if a refund is needed or further cleaning or work something out. I apologize for any inconvenience but I believe that I should be given a chance to rectify the matter.
