R&A Auto is not an honest business as they claim.My car is 12 years old and was diagnosed at ****** dealership for a torque converter. It also needed a new water radiator. I was not going to fix the car at all and instead buy a new car. Its a 2011 ****** with over 200k miles. I told R&A I would just buy a new vehicle if it needed a lot of repairs as its not worth it. I am also disabled and had to borrow $ for a reliable car or repairs depending.R&A CONvinced me the ****** dealership did not diagnose my car correctly and it did not need a torque converter, yet it stalled at every brake.They said it needed a water radiator and then kept adding one thing after another as months went by with many calls to ***** convincing me it would be cheap and fully fixed and reliable. The ***************** to 7k which was almost what I bought the car for over 6 years ago, which I was not going to do and I finally go pick up my car. ***** pushed the paperwork over and instructs me to sign. Then says it may need a torque converter. I was shocked! And reminded him they told me clearly it did not need the torque converter. I drove home, all highway and no stops barely and super gentle on the brakes so my car would not stall as I was used to that. Then hours later took my car to the store and it stalled repeatedly. I called ***** at R&A right away and complained and he said to bring it in for the torque converter. After months of lying saying the torque converter was not needed. I have ended up bringing it to ****** dealership to fix and paying 9k total on a 12 year old car and it still rattles even with new motor mounts from R&A and 7k worth or repairs there and another 2k at the dealership.I disputed the charges from the auto shop as my car rattles and they lied repeatedly and overcharged for everything. Since **** and banks only look at paperwork and not what was said over many calls I lost the dispute. ***** had me sign the paperwork knowing the car wasnt fixed.
