DELUX CLEANERS ************* $800 Designer Dress. Refuses to give back, show, or even provide a picture of the dress to me. On March 25, 2022 I took my $800 ********************* designer dress to Delux Cleaners in ****************, **. On March 31, 2022 I received a call from **************** (she said she was the owner) telling me she ruined the dress during cleaning. I have had this dress cleaned many times with no problems. She offered me $65.00 for the dress and proceeded to tell me it was a fake. It is not a fake, it was purchased from a designer dress store in ********* at the ************* in Caesars Palace. However, fake or not, I ultimately refused the money and told her I simply want the dress back, ruined or not. This dress was very special to me and has sentimental value far outweighing her monetary offer. However, when I asked for it back it took several days for her to get back to me and when she finally did, she straight out told me that the dress was gone. I asked her for a photo of the damages to the dress and she then stopped responding to me all together. This exchange has caused me some pain as I don't have nice clothes like this. I only had this one beautiful special dress. I have learned when someone steals something from you there is little recourse. This is now a civil matter so the police will not assist in getting back stolen property and I now am left to file a small claims court case which I am doing, but it's a huge hassle factor. I have lost hope that **************** has the integrity to return my dress, because if she did, I could prove it was authentic. Of course, I cannot do this if she never gives it back. What I can do is post my experience for other people in hopes I can save someone else from having to go through this unfortunate experience. I also should have read the reviews on this company. Had I done that, I would have seen that 4 out of 6 reviews were 1's and told of others having terrible experiences as well. If I read the reviews, I would
