On February 11, 2020, BBB recognized a pattern of complaints from consumers regarding payment, and advertising concerns. Consumers allege they were led to believe they were buying a tooth whitening kit for $7.95; one month later, they find a credit card charge between $89.00 and $149.00 for the product. Further, in the first paragraph under, “Terms and Conditions,” is an explanation that the $7.95 is for a 14 - day trial offer, and consumers are required to cancel the subscription within 14 days to avoid additional billing. Consumers claim the company is unresponsive to requests for assistance.
Additionally, Consumers reported participating in on-line surveys for Amazon, Walgreens, and other businesses with the promise of a “free gift.” Consumers are asked to pay the $7.95 shipping cost associated with the “free gift,” and are then charged one month later for the cost of the kit.

On February 20, 2020, BBB notified the company of the complaint pattern. To date, the company has not responded to BBB's request to address the pattern. Better Business Bureau would like to remind consumers to always read and understand the “Terms and Conditions” when ordering an on-line product.
