The service advisors here are patronizing, condescending, rude, and unhelpful. I truly believe if I were a rich man (not a young woman) I would've been treated different. My keys fell inside the car trunk. I had locked the doors too. I called MB RA, they told me the closest dealership is Beverly Hills, and they will open my trunk door using a computer system. MB RA sent a free tow. Upon arrival to the dealership, the tow truck driver spoke with a technician and confirmed they will use a computer system to open the trunk door. However, a young service advisor told me "we can't open your trunk door". He kept repeating it over and over again. I told him I spoke with several MB representatives, showed him my call log, who have told me otherwise. This young service advisor told me "call them to come down here and open the trunk using the computer system themselves". Excuse me? Where is the customer service?! Clearly, I am your customer, in distress and feel anxious, my voice was shaking. I asked the advisor to bring the computer system, try opening the trunk door in front of me, and show me why he "can't open the trunk door using a computer system". He responded by telling me to follow him inside and speak with a senior Service Advisor named ******************. ****** told me using a computer system to open the trunk was equivalent to hacking into my personal laptop. What?! How?! The only option he offered was to purchase a new car key which arrives 3-6 days. I asked for a loaner vehicle in the meantime. ****** told me they don't provide loaner vehicles for people who lock their keys in the car. What?! He told me to call enterprise and rent a car. As I turned around, I saw them fist bumping behind my back. Who does that after being so unhelpful?! I called MB RA again, they called WI ********, confirmed they could help, & sent another tow. ******************* took me without an appointment. After about 2 hours, they successfully opened my trunk door using the computer system.
