      I submitted a request through my ********************* about an issue regarding flickering lights in some parts of the home. I was provided with a few companies that came out and I was not satisfied with the experience during initial visit so after a few tries, we were provided with Budget Electric. *******, one of the manager techs was really nice. He was thorough and explained as much as he could for us. He quoted my insurance company with a quote along with the diagnosis. Most of the work/diagnosis was done by one of his team members ******. Unfortunately, after almost 10 visits from them and 6 months later, I am still experiencing the same issues. My home warranty company wouldnt cover the full amount based on the diagnosis so I came out of pocket for most of the initial cost quoted. Communication has been so so with this company as I have to call the main line, speak to *******, then they contact the techs and its a whole back and forth. I've had to call for follow *** multiple times, I have had to ask for a manager for a follow up, I have had to wait anywhere between 2 weeks up to a month just to get a follow up visit to try and diagnose the issue. Although I have been patient and understanding through this experience. I am at a loss for what to do next. I have spent my hard earned money to just have the SAME issue persist. I am frustrated with the trouble shooting. I am not an electrician so I just want someone who knows what they are doing to fix the problem in an efficient timely manner. I block off time from work just to stay home to have the issue remain, I waited up to 2 hours outside of my window for the tech to come and unfortunately I didnt even know the tech left after 10 minutes of the last job, again just to have the issue persist. I'm more frustrated with the back and forth, amount of visits to the home, amount of money I have spent, the amount of time carved out of work just to be home to wait for the techs,the length of time this issue is taking

      We submitted a service request through our AHS home warranty and were assigned to Budget Electric. It was after work hours. It affected our fridge and stove, so AHS put it as expedite/emergency. The next morning we were contacted by BE, and they found us a canceled appointment time for the following morning. In the meantime, I searched BE for reviews and saw quite a few negative reviews, leaving me nervous for our appointment. Based on the service we received, I don't know how they have bad reviews. The women answering my phone calls were very understanding and patient with *** many phone calls. ******** and another woman handled all my questions and concerns. There were a couple of times I wasn't able to reach them, but I'm assuming they were handling other calls or were at a unch break. Although it was an hour outside of our service window, we had an electrician show up soon after. With the storms, I think they're busy and sometimes run a little behind. ******* was the best and completely blew away all concerns as soon as he arrived. He was courteous and positive the entire time. He asked permission for coming inside, opening doors, going into rooms, etc. He patiently explained everything he did. He wasn't annoyed by curiosity or my questions. He was thorough and had diagnosed our problem in less than 5 minutes. Although it ended up being an issue for PG&E to fix, ******* double-checked the circuit breaker and boxes. He replaced a faulty fuse box to ensure no additional issues. After our service was complete, I shared our initial concerns based on previous reviews. ******* was still positive and genuinely courteous. He had positive things to say about ****** and ******* as well. He explained they have a high volume of service calls. He didn't make excuses. Without dismissing the other reviews, he said that with the volume of calls they do, there are probably some negative reviews. Thanks BE and ******* for a positive experience!
