Advantage GPS is selling defective GPS's promising customer they are the best GPS's on the market. I was using GPS sold by Goldstar with battery life lasting almost 2 years. Switched to Advantage GPS with promise they are better than Goldstar and better battery life. I have financed cars on the road with Advantage GPS . Some batteries died in the first 4 months. I have 10 dead units out of 29 units I have purchased from them. That is 3rd for now the number keeps going up.They knowingly know these are defective. The solution they offered me is to buy the newer units.I need them to refund my money back on all units, I will deal with loss of my cars which I can not locate on my ownBusiness response

Our team made numerous attempts to contact this complainant regarding his concerns. We finally spoke directly with *******************, owner of *****************, only recently.
We take all client complaints seriously as we place a very high value on our excellent reputation in the marketplace. His concerns regard the speed at which our equipment performs based on the driving habits of his customers. Based on preliminary reports, we recommended swapping the devices he had not yet activated for a model that better fit his needs at no additional cost. We also offered future swaps for already activated devices should he recover them or if there were issues with them. All the products we sold to ************** are operating and functional and provide value for what he purchased. Though we have abided by the terms of our contract and offered solutions to ****************** unique circumstances, he had no interest in any of the solutions we provided.Customer response

Advantage GPS is fully aware of the failure of their products. The person I have talked to told me that we should have been sold a different product. The purpose of buying the *** is to be able to locate a vehicle for recovery. The product failed to perform its Intend of use. Offering to replace unused units is admitting the units are junk. They sold me a product which has not performed what it was intended to. Now I have cars out there which I can not able to locate.

On 3/10/23, our team reached back out to customer again as a good-faith gesture, to discuss refund options. Customer has not responded.
