I sincerely hope other customers do not receive a defective nursing chair like we did, because the customer service department at ********************** is simply not capable of handling a timely replacement of a lemon. It may be a lack of resourcesor worse, a lack of interestbut in either event, the company's representatives are disorganized and do not follow through on what they say they'll do.We received the Cali Pillowback Swivel Glider as a gift from family. When it arrived at our apartment, we immediately noticed the chair leaned six inches to one side. No matter how we positioned the base, the lean stayed. We sent pictures and a detailed description of the defective product to the customer complaint email address.Their initial response was to suggest sending us a replacement base and having us reinstall the new base ourselves. That wasn't something we were comfortable doing, given that the reinstallation process would have likely required a power drill, and perhaps other tools, and we werent confident that the issue would even be resolved even if we were to put in that level of work on our end. (This is an 80+ pound chair, to be clear.) So, we requested a replacement. To make a long story short, it took about a month for a replacement to arriveand a different color chair than what we ordered, because the original was out of stock. During the intervening weeks, there were, quite literally, dozens of back-and-forth emails and phone calls with customer service. We called every week (due to stretches of radio silence via email). They told us on the phone that a replacement would be ordered that day. We called the next week and found out the order was never placed because of the back-order issue. We settled for another color and gave the go-ahead to order that one, which they again promised theyd order that day. Then we called again the following week and found out the order was once again never placed.Do yourself a favor and avoid the headache.
