During a move, the Pac in box movers damaged my laminate flooring. Owner *** argued about how/who would do the repair work. I advised him I would be contacting the company who installed the flooring when I provided him the quote he argued it was too much , that he could have it done cheaper. Then he wanted to negotiate and pay less. He said he had someone who could fix it after admitting he couldn't. I substance called two other flooring companies described the damage asked for a quote. Both companies gave quotes of between $300 and $380. I called him back to inform him he still argued to which I told him I was having the flooring repaired. I was using my tradesperson and that he needed to do the right thing and reimburse me. I had the work done. I emailed him a copy of the paid invoice and did not hear from him. I followed up finally received a Voice message saying his wife had emailed a check "two days ago" which would have been last Wednesday. To date, I have still not received reimbursement. He does not answer my calls or return my emails. This complaint is my only recourse other than filing fraud charges with my bank to reverse the payment to him and reissue less the $350, which I will do if this is not resolved.
