Never use them again. They fixed our black tank valve for over ****** and the first time we used it, it failed. Took our rig back in and spent 5 hours waiting for it to be corrected and they wanted to charge us more to fix their error and I only agreed to an additional ******. Again it failed the first time we used it. I called and left a message for the owner and he never called back. This is NOT the reputable company we had wonderful service with in the past.R.V. Ex-wife and I decided to donate our ** and she came up with RV Doctor. She had searched and found them. I reached out to the owner, who missed the scheduled appointment and I had to pay an additional month rent. When we did meet he explained that he was sorry and would reimburse us for the rental and offered also to pay for a brand new battery (instead of us removing it) and he would send us a letter to use to write off the ** via a charity he works with. After not receiving the paperwork I contacted his office and finally after a couple attempts received not a charity write off tax letter but a **** of Sale for the ** for the small amount he had offered to pay for additional rental /Battery. Honestly I had a bad feeling about the transaction from the beginning but had held out hope that he would be true to his word. I called him and asked for the letter he promised and he pretended as if he never promised the charity write off. I feel scammed and they profited off my ex wife and me as I've now become aware that the ** was simply re-sold. If you're looking to donate an ** I'd recommend you learn from my mishap and call someone else.R.V. Doctor George, Inc. Response

Dear **************,We sincerely apologize for the letter provided that was late and not to your satisfaction and for any services that you felt were unprofessional. Below is a reply to points from your review. We thank you for bringing these concerns to our attention via the BBB.1) Letter of donation. The pastor from the (affiliated) church who is responsible for preparing donation letters was not available for a five month period, beginning two months prior to your request (for which we were not in knowledge). He was not able to to conduct administrative tasks of this type due to complications with the Coronavirus. We understand that this or any excuse would most likely not be accepted in your situation. Therefore, after your numerous attempts to receive the letter of donation and our numerous attempts to have it completed, as communicated between you and our company through email and text, it was our obligation and it was finally prepared and sent to you. Again, our apologies for the lengthy delay. Perhaps, you can claim the donation this year on your taxes if you were not able to the prior year. If so, we are willing to start over with the letter process but will need to revise/update the "donation" part and monies exchanged.2) Sale of the motorhome to us. It was during this time, when the pastor was not able to prepare your letter that we realized a letter sent to you would need to address the actual, legal transaction that occurred. Technically, the letter sent to you was specifically prepared the way it was since the transaction was a sale and not a donation. You very clearly stated you wanted $250 for the batteries when we spoke at the storage lot, prior to any formal agreement being made or signed. It was a stipulation you receive $250. Batteries came with that unit, we did not purchase batteries for the unit. If no batteries were in the unit and you donated it to us, as happens frequently, then that would be a donation and our responsibility to obtain our own batteries. Batteries came with this unit, and to obtain the unit from you would cost us $250. That is what you required and that is what we provided to you. Also, you were very angry, yelling at me that I did not meet you at the designated time and that you had to miss work because of it, being late to return. I felt very bad. I apologized numerous times and immediately offered to pay your salary for that time period. You agreed that $350 would suffice, accepting an additional $100 for not meeting you at the designated time.2) Sale of the motorhome to a family desperately in need of housing. We sold the motorhome to a family who was desperately seeking an affordable housing solution. They were very appreciative, they and we thank you very much for making this happen. We sold the motorhome for two reasons. First, your motorhome had to go to a service shop and service work was conducted on the wiring and numerous vacuum lines. Rats, created the majority amount of damage. You had mentioned that your wife had opened the hood and allowed a family of squirrels to reside in the engine compartment. Essentially, the parent squirrels raised a family for a season and your wife felt compelled to allow the family of squirrels to make a home inside the motorhome's engine compartment. Feedback from the service shop indicated not only damage from squirrels had occurred but also from rats. Motorhomes are vehicles that are driven are complicated and expensive when it comes time for servicing them and to conduct repairs attributed to rodent damage. The rodent damage repairs and the associated repairs for being able to pass smog was not a cheap expense to incur. Additionally, we then paid for labor, parts and materials to repair issues outstanding in the coach and corrected systems/services issues before ever allowing a family to reside in the unit as a permanent home. At the end of it, the amount of profit made from this transaction was close to four times the cost of your batteries.....not as huge of a profit as you believe. The cost of doing business in California continues to increase. Rent, labor, employee wage taxes, business insurance, workers comp insurance, sales-fed/state taxes, rent, utilities, neighborhood improvement fees, storm drain fees, empty lot fees, fuel costs, maintenance of the trucks, insurance on the trucks, office supplies, office tech support, a once-a-year holiday lunch for Christmas for the guys, conducting free inspections, and other costs associated with trying to operate a business must be paid first so we can offer old used parts and compassionately assist helping those desperately seeking affordable housing. Again, thankfully because of you we were able to again help a nice family in need of affordable housing. At the end of the day we don't make that much money. Why don't you take some time and stop by our yard and see the hard work, the good work and time we spend with each customer....whether they spend money or not, we help them. Actually, we give away a lot of our time helping those with information, which is something you may not find a business offering this day and age. We do it day in and day out. We work many hours for free here, before the shop opens and after it closes, usually till midnight in the *******. We never charge for any inspections, even if we are receiving a donation or having to pay for it. Many times, rather, most of the time, the calls we receive from those wanting to donate are a request to remove complete garbage....something that has not moved in years and is most likely rotted from water and rodent damage. We do as much as possible to help these people, just as we helped you. With the costs associated with the repairs of your unit and the costs to operate a business like ours, where each month we offer 1,00's of hours of free help/advice, answer 1,000's of emails and 1,000s of calls, and at the end barely make it, the profit made after all of this is enough to pay for the opportunity to do it all again the next day. But, we do it and are very thankful for the opportunity to continue the legacy George built. We are very thankful for the motorhome and how it was able to help become an affordable home for a family in need. We are very happy and willing to meet with you and discuss, further, anything we can do to provide a more satisfactory and enjoyable experience working with us. We do hope this reply helps provide a better understanding of what we do and our intent and dedication to being a professional, much needed service for the region and the western US.Thank you kindly,***** and staff
