Most HORRIBLE experience. EVER. My wife took her sports car in for a simple oil change. The next day I told her that that car was leaking oil. She is a nurse and was, unfortunately, unable to immediately take it back, both because of her schedule and distance. She took it in for them to re-inspect it and they told her nothing was wrong and that some oil had just leaked onto the undertray plastics. The car DID stop leaking for about a week and then the puddle reappeared, even worse. She was on her way back to them to inspect AGAIN, but was not able to complete the journey because the warning system in the car came on, telling her to add oil immediately or risk damage. She was able to add oil and return home where I was able to lift the car and find that not only had this Midas shop left out the critical oil drain bolt crush-washer, but that they had also stripped the drain bolt by over-tightening it in an effort to stop the leak. I made arrangements with the shop, after contacting the owner and the district manager, and demanded that they NOT proceed with any further inspection or repair until I was present to witness. They agreed to this, but after the car was towed to them proceeded with the repair without my knowledge or consent. When I realized I would not be able to inspect the repairs for myself, I also demanded the old/original parts back. They would not give them to me and I had to call the Police while on-site, as well as the district manager. While I was waiting in my car for the police to arrive and answering work emails, the store manager knocked on my window and showed me the bolt I had asked for. When I told him it was too late and that the police were already on their way, he opened my door, threw the bolt at me, and then slammed my door on my arm while I was trying to keep my dog from getting out.The officer served him with a citizen's arrest and now I have a court date, over a simple oil change handled by nefarious crooks.

Never bring your vehicle to Midas in *****, **! The manager **** will over promise and under deliver every time. The mechanics are totally incompetent and they cant fix anything. We always brought our vehicles in for the same mechanical issues and they never fixed them so we wasted lots of time and money. When I complained about the most recent mechanical issue that wasnt fixed properly and I asked him if he would charge me to fix it, he told me of course he would and when I told him that I would take my business elsewhere he told me go ahead and that he didnt care.

Took my Jeep with 45k miles for engine light. After spending over $700 and same issue I am being told that they cant fix the issue and they handed back my key back but kept my money. My Jeep had fault code 301 with included faulty fuel pressure. However they didnt perform this simple procedure before replacing other parts.

I went in for an oil change. The mechanic was in a hurry due closing soon for the day. In the process they found an oil leak that my car did not have before I arrived there. Apparently , they broke the the oil filter casing on my VW Rabbit. They inspected it and told me it was and oil leak from the lower valve gasket and oil pan gasket. They quoted me $680.00 repair. After talking to them and telling them this was way to much, I started wondering what on earth was the lower gasket valve and where was it located. I have never of a lower valve gasket. I know the car has a valve gasket that is not in the lower part of the car. Immediately I had the car checked by an honest mechanic and found out that they had broken the filter casing. I urge everyone that reads this not to do business with these crooks. I will report them to the better business bureau. Luckily , I have proof that on the reciept that the lower valve gasket needed changing. I pursue this further they are not going to rip off people. If I could give 0 stars on customer service I would. DO NOT GO THERE!

My Transmission was in need of service, I was told everything going is being caused by my motor mounts and wheel struts etc. I was told fixing these issues and my car will be like new. I drive for Uber and the cost would be around $3500 to replace everything. I agreed thinking my car would be fixed this was on 12/08/2021 I was told my car was ready for pickup and I drove it home that night with a kind of loud hum from the engine, I live about 5 miles from Midas as I got on freeway for the next exit it started losing power and top speed was about 40 mph I barely made it home and the car showed have not been released to me if someone would have drove it to really know if it was ready. After checking the car over they said my Transmission needs repair this came to almost $4000 more I agreed only because I need my car to work for Uber the car was taken away for over a month waiting for parts I was told I'm sure I lost over $4000 not being able to work. The car was finally repaired in January with 1 year warranty or ****** miles which ever comes 1st. On January 25th I took my car to get a oil change at Vavoline And I was told my car was leaking Transmission fluid it's noted on my paperwork. I took the car back to Midas and they checked it and said it needed to be fixed and the car was was with them about another 4 weeks and they finally returned it, I just noticed in my garage the car is leaking fluid again I assume they only tried to patch it which might have got the car past the ****** mile warranty then it would have been on me. The transmission needs to be Reopened and replace any Gasquet etc.and parts if needed, after fixing the last time I asked if I would get a new ****** mile warranty I was told don't worry just bring it in we will take care of it. I couldn't get in writing. I just want my car fixed right it's a 2014 ****** Corolla
