On August 12, 2021, Stanley Penn, the owner of Lucky Lady Card Room entered into a Stipulated Settlement, Decision, and Order with the Gambling Control Commission of California and the Department of Justice. The Stipulated Settlement, Decision, and Order settles allegations that the business owner participated in illegal bookmaking operations which were being conducted through the card room. Under terms of the Settlement, the business owner’s gambling license will be revoked and he will pay a total of $125,000 in penalties and $50,000 in investigative fees.
This action is final.
