              I rented a storage unit 5347 Price Self Storage Santee, Ca on May 8th, 2021 $303 per month plus insurance. On or about September 12th, 2023 I noticed that someone broke into my unit by entering the dwelling above the door so as to not set off alarm I took pictures sent via email to manager ***** at the time, but I never heard from her or anyone. On or about May 6th, 2024 I removed all items from storage unit and went through everything to find out that I had been robbed of a lot of my property, I informed Regional manager ******** of the theft filled out an insurance claim but as of this date I havent heard from anyone.

              Be careful and ask about "protection plan" upfront. They will have you sign the contract at the price quoted AND THEN tell you about the extra you'll be paying for the protection plan. Then they will justify it by telling you, you can "opt out." Trying to opt out is a big run around and that's the whole idea. The idea is that you will get sick and tired of trying to opt out and/or forget about it. HORRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICE. Slimy and corrupt
