I made the mistake of attending BloomTech with the hopes of obtaining gainful employment. I was lured in with falsified statistics that I would be one of many students who gained employment and could improve my life. Instead, I am saddled with a loan that seems impossible to pay and am now unemployed. Upon learning about BloomTech, I was contacted by one of their enrollment associates and next thing I know I'm signing documents thinking I'm taking a step towards improving my future. When in reality I set myself so far back financially that I would not be able to make a spare dollar for another 5 years with a market rate job which I am having trouble obtaining. My issue lies with BloomTech. I have put in hours upon hours honing my craft and relentlessly applying to jobs, all of which have left me empty handed. The education while informative was an absolute joke. BloomTech made false promises in the hopes of luring desperate students to bleed them dry. I saw in the media that BloomTech is being forced to forgive *** holders due to BloomTech's predatory practices. This is a start, but there are students such as myself who have the same amount if not more in the form of a hefty loan. We are left high and dry. We were in the same predicament as those with the *** and are left with no relief.
