2. The power wires for the oven should be in a conduit. The conduit that came with the oven was removed to enable both appliances to fit, but a replacement conduit and electrical box was not used.
3. While the cooktop and oven were wired to separate breakers as requested, the two breakers for the cooktop were not adjacent and mechanically coupled to each other as required, so a short would not have tripped both breakers for the cooktop as required.
4. The GFI outlets for the kitchen near the sinks are not working. When you push the set and reset buttons, it does not shut off the power to these outlets and required.
5. The outlet for the bathroom toilet is not on a GFI outlet.
In addition to these electrical wiring issues, which were safety issues, there are others including:
âƒThe missing spacer for the kitchen cabinet assembly so that the door cannot fit, making the 15 inch cabinet that we have useless. We can not put the spacer in without re-installing the counter, which is impossible to do without damaging kitchen cabinets. Doing so will require thousands of dollars. And we already paid to DAJA for kitchen.
⃠the tiling for the kitchen, the corners are mis-aligned, we're not sure how to address this without removing significant portions of the tile.
- the cabinets for the MBR closet, were significantly damaged during assembly, and the assembly is poorly done with drawers sticking and not closing. Many of the cabinets (kitchen, den, MBR closet) were damaged during the assembly.
- wall paint applied poorly with missing paint in few places.
