STAY AWAY FROM **** Thompson RV, Colton, **. They are liars, and steal items out of your trailer while holding it hostage for repairs. I bought my trailer in April of 2024 and STILL haven't been able to use it because it literally fell apart. THIS COMPANY does NOT stand behind what they sale, they point fingers at everyone else, ignore you, treat you like s*** and are 100% sexiest. I hate this company and will never ever step foot on their lot again. I am looking for a lawyer to create a class action law suit, Contact me if you are interested in joining the law suit. DO NOT give this place one dime, they will smile and lie to your face then treat you horrible when you contact them about any problems.Review from Catalena L

PLEASE STAY AWAY!! THE INSANITY THAT WILL HSPPEN AFTER DRIVING THIS ** OFF THE *** IS NOT WORTH IT.**** Thompsons will outright sell you a malfunctioning **, while smiling to your face and probably laughing at the idiot that trusted them to be decent business people and not sell you a POS **.You see, my stabilizer or leveler isn't working properly since day one!Two and a half weeks after purchasing this ** in October, my fridge broke and it wasn't fixed until February! Then the replacement fridge, after less than a month of having it also stops working! They either want me to bring it in for a week and longer, even though I stated from the very beginning before, during and after purchase that I will not be able to bring in this ** and it will be in a location long-term- or I have to pay for the fridge and repairs.I bought the most expensive insurance to ensure I'm covered for everything possible, but it doesn't matter because it won't cover their own malfunctions unless I take it in for probably a month for them to try to fix it since they obviously didn't do a thorough inspection on the ** to begin with.Review from Sam H

The Fountain Valley location willfully sold a young family an RV with extensive material defects including water damage. They refuse to acknowledge their wrongdoing or provide the inspection report from the sale. People far and wide have heard their story through social media and have requested that MTRV resolve the issue, but they have instead deleted comments, blocked people, and are still refusing help to a family with six kids, left without a working furnace (which supposedly was replaced at time of sale) in 20 temps.Review from Damon B

The absolute worst place to buy an RV or have it serviced! (Read to the end) I will never step foot on their lot again. Period. I do not write bad reviews. I have waited to write the review to see if I would "cool" off but the anger this has caused still exists. However, this is the exception for me. I purchased our ************ through **** Thompson in Colton. The sales team was great until we got to finance, this is where the nightmare begins... The finance team jerked us around on interest rates, if we bought a certain upsell package, we would get a better interest rate... BS! Then the transfer of the title was a pain because they didn't want to deal with the *** paperwork from another state. (This is all child's play) We were willing to deal with it because this is the rig we wanted! We then had to take it in for service for severe issues (Frame issues). We not only got the worst service I have ever gotten but we got the run around the whole time. Long story short, I have evidence of the technicians going through our person items, sleeping on my couch, doing random things in our rig. This is our home as we live in it full time. The violated my space! They did not accomplish anything in the time that it was there. When confronting the manager, all he could say was it was embarrassing and did nothing further. I had to take my rig to the manufacture to get the issues resolved. I have blurred the culprits faces. DO NOT GIVE **** THOMPSON ANY OF YOUR HARD-EARNED MONEY!Review from Linda r P

I stand corrected in my judgement of this dealership, thanks to the kindness and understanding of their GM, Mark Rosenbaum. He has turned things around for me, after a year long battle, with my RV, that I purchased at Mike Thompson RV in Colton. Nobody, heard my complaints or empathized with me until Mark took over. Thank you MTRV for having an understanding man like Mark!Review from Margaret F

I've asked multiple times, even through the service manager to get a copy of work that needed to be done to my trailer. I started asking in April 2022 and to date June 2022, still haven't received the requested information. Also, as a woman owner, I felt that I wasn't treated in the same manner as a male owner. I was told I had to have my frig and a/c unit checked, even though both had just been used at a cost of $1600. I do not plan to return.Review from Darrin O

Mike Thompson sold me a 2021 Grand Design 5th wheel. First trip out, it caught fire. Neither Grand Design, nor Mike Thompson, will take any responsibility and will not cover it under warrantee. Mike Thompson had had my unit for 9 months and it still isn't fixed. This is a dealer that refuses to stand behind the products they sell and then can't service them either. Do your research - the sales team is great, but once you sign, you are no longer important. I'm stuck with a long term nightmare - don't make the same mistake.Review from Steve C

Worst service. Ripped off my 75 year old mother. Sold her a lemon and have charge thousands of dollars to fix things over and over.
For example; auto leveling system still not working properly after 3 visits and months of sitting in the shop and copay every time.
She was charged over $700(4 hours labor) to replace 4pins in a bed frame. Pins that were not installed when she bought the coach, therefore unknowingly driving away with an unsafe RV.
Charged an inspection fee per item she need looked at eve though same visit....i.e. $185 to say, yep that lights not working, or yep that came off. One visit she was charged $185 four times to "look at" four simple things.
Service employee flat out lied on at least two occasions.Review from Pat E.

Mike thompson had my rv 4 months. The advisor was very rude and uncooperative. I would never take my rv back to them. We took our rv to JnL and in two days they had all Mike Thompsons screw ups fixed. Mike Thompson crossed wires in my frig and stereo and tore a nine inch rip in my floor. JnL in Fontana are AWESOME. After 8 months we are finally able to use our rv.
