Stay away! They lied about half the things they said they were going to do. $180k later my backyard looks terrible and what they put in looks nothing like the pictures they showed me. They literally left a dirt hill going into my pool. Buyers be ware!

      Swan Pools Response

      10/15/2024

This pool was built per our contract with the customer.  No "hill" of dirt was left behind.  We built in accordance with industry standards.  The pool passed final inspection and was completed per contract.  We feel this review is invalid and that we did nothing wrong or that wasn't on our contract.  We do the best we can but cannot manage clients' expectations in all cases.   We will send you a photo and a copy of a document we provide to all customers to ensure they are aware of items that may arise during construction.  We will email that separately.

Youll get a pool, but that about it. We started our build in the late fall and recently finished. Rain delayed the process, but there was no communication and I had to track down updates throughout the build. The dig crew was great. The remainder not so much. On clean up they left much behind that should have been taken. The second clean up they sent out due to this still missed several things like tangles of wire and a pile of tile shards. The plaster company left tape debris all along the tile that I will now how to find a way to remove. I was not expecting my yard to be as it was, but after several quotes to regrow a yard, weve been told that they took away too much soil and we will need around ******************************* the low areas before anything can be done. This primary low area being exactly where their ramp into the hole once was. When I brought up the yard condition, I was told they do not return yards to landscape ready. They sent two guys out who lightly shaved a few of the mounds and tapped a bit of that soil to the ditch that wasnt fully filled in from the electrical work( it still isnt filled in fully). I now will have an additional cost of $500+ to get dirt laid in the area. They took the time to measure and map the pool, but clean up was eyeballed and quick to be done.weve been told by landscape companies that they dug too deep and the porch of our yard may never be quite right now. The pool is now the low part of our yard that was once fairly level. Higher *** arrived on dig day to make sure it started well, someone should have to be there to sign off on the completion as well. If you wouldnt leave your own yard this way, dont try to pass it off as acceptable to a customer.
