I hate having to file a complaint about anyone; but this guy who runs (****** *****) the business called Inter Faith Electric & Fire, Inc. has many complaints against him around town and I don't understand why people don't file! I guess most people don't want any more trouble than they've had with him; and he is a "*****"
I am 74 years old and live alone. I am quite afraid of the inclimate weather and how the electric goes out so often. He definitely appealed to my concerns and kept after me about getting solar, so I gave in and complied. It cost me $********* through ******** credit union of which he was paid $******** upon completion. He hired out side individuals to do most of the work. I relied on him to know what I needed. I also paid him out of pocket approximately $******** to fix the electrical box and change out all sockets that were old in the house. He was paid in full upon completion. Not much time went by; but when we had a big storm and the back up battery went black and didn't do its job! I called him and texted him and got no immediate response; and when I did, he informed me he was three months out on other work and he had lots of personal excuses, too; like having to take his wife out for their anniversary. I finally had to call ****** whose equipment it was and file a complaint. I told them I didn't think he wanted to come back out here and so they offered him payment to come. They were supposed to send the battery to me; but ****** had them send it to him and he sat on it in his office for a month! I called him and he admitted it was there! I had to make several calls and e-mails to ****** to get him to finally bring the battery and install. Then it still didn't work and he turns it all on me and says I should've gotten more batteries. My comment was why didn't you tell me this before the loan was finalized?! Any way, it went on and on and ****** had to send out a tech from Georgia !! This was all bad business on him
