    "CAUTION" This feedback is 100% TRUE & 100% ACCURATE. I want to be very thorough with THIS feedback, so please READ IN FULL. Ok; So on Thursday. Jan. 19th, @ 1:34 PM 2023 I called LJB Security, East Haven, CT. LOUIS B. It was $500.00 for a 1-day class. "THANK GOD I DID NOT USE A BANK CARD, or PAY IN CASH" I WOULD HAVE LOST THE ENTIRE $500 amount I paid! It WAS PAID & POSTED on my Credit Card JAN. 19TH @ 1:49:40sec. My class was scheduled for Tue. Jan. 31st, 2023 @ 8:00 AM. We left off on a very good note after that 1st phone call. Then, a multitude of events took place in my life over the weekend making me UNAVAILABLE to make the Jan. 31st appointment with Louis. THIS IS WHERE EVERYTHING CHANGED! I called Louis back within 3 BUSINESS DAYS, to initially change the date to a later time. I POLITELY ASKED for a refund of my $500.00 until I was able to give a definite date to take the class. Louis became agitated when I asked for a chargeback on my credit card! HE WAS NOT WILLING TO! Lou TOLD ME NO REFUNDS, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES! I EXPLAINED TO HIM IT WAS THE LAW, & HE SAID I DON'T CARE! MY APPOINTMENT WAS {EIGHT} DAYS AWAY FROM THE DATE I TRIED TO CANCEL! THANK GOD I DIDN'T USE A BANK CARD, CHECK, OR CASH, OR I WOULD BE OUT $500.00. So, if ANYONE PLANS ON USING THIS GUY, "NEVER EVER, EVER" USE CASH, CHECK, OR A BANK CARD TO PAY HIM, or any other payment source OTHER THAN A MAJOR CREDIT CARD! BECAUSE YOU ARE 100% GUARANTEED to LOSE YOUR ENTIRE $500 for the course! IF SOMETHING COMES UP & YOU CAN'T MAKE THE DATE YOU HAD SCHEDULED! EVEN IF YOU HAVE AN EMERGENCY! EVEN IF IT IS MANY WEEKS BEFORE THE DATE OF YOUR CLASS, YOU WILL BE 100% GUARANTEED TO BE OUT $500.00 OR WHATEVER MONEY AMOUNT YOU PAID HIM! I CAN ONLY IMAGINE HOW MANY FREE $500 BILLS LOU HAS MADE OVER THE YEARS RIPPING PEOPLE OFF! HOPEFULLY, THIS WILL PUT A STOP TO IT! PROCEED WITH "CAUTION" BEWARE!!!

    Hi ****** Unfortunately your complaint is not 100 percent accurate, which is why the BBB gives consumers and businesses a forum so that potential customers can read the review and make an intelligent decision. I'm going to be brief. ***** purchased a private class for $500. That meant I had to block (from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.) out an entire day off my schedule for ***** because I promised the time to him. I lost out on some good contracts because I had promised the day to *****. Due to the fact that my business is an event-based business I do not have a refund policy. When I say events I'm talking classes. So you book a seat in a class...pretty much just like booking a seat for a ball game, a play, or a rock concert, whether you show up or not the game is still played, the songs are still sung, and the show most certainly goes on. But because ***** booked a private class he was charged $500 and he understood it was nonrefundable because of the nature of this business. ***** paid for the class then at a later time called me over the phone and asked to cancel that class and move it to another date. I said not a problem, but strangely he wanted a refund...then he assured me he would call me back in a couple of weeks and pay for the new class. Well I wasn't born yesterday and we do have a strict no refund policy because the classes are all events. Even worse he booked a private class so it took an entire day off my schedule. ***** became irrational and irate because I wouldn't refund his money then he threatened me telling me that he was going to ruin my business name and reputation on social media and he was going to purposely berate my business, but only after he disputed the charge with his credit card company. If you read *****'s complaint it seems a bit off and I am somewhat concerned for my safety and the safety of my family. He has told me that he was going to begin by harassing me on social media so that he could try and ruin my business name and reputation. He has already hit me up on ** and now BBB. If you would like to contact me I'll be happy to share with you more irrational texts from *****'s personal phone and over ** Messenger. It almost seems like ***** simply paid for the class just to harass me on social media and the BBB sight. I can't be sure, but read it yourself and tell me if it sounds rational to you. And if you want to see the texts and messages from ** I'll be happy to share them with you. In conclusion, ***** did file a complaint with his credit card company and it is out for dispute right now. Naturally, I challenged the dispute. If you have any questions about this feel free to contact me at ************* I wish ***** well. I certainly hope he finds peace because it sure sounds like he needs it.

    Now Lou is Lying, & I have the phone conversations recorded & texts to PROVE IT. I HAVE NOT made ANY contact with him via ********* Or any other forms of communication other than 2 phone calls & 4 text messages. Since the State of CT. has a 3 business day policy for canceling ANY contract I was NOT bound to ANY NO REFUND POLICY! I canceled the class within 3 business days leaving him 9 days to fill his spot which I'm sure he had no problem doing so, as he claims to be so busy. If Louis continues to LIE, just to have a TRUE bad review removed, and to go to the extent of making me look like the BAD GUY & now claim I'm threatening him, I will 100% be suing him for Defamation of character.
