      Took my car to Family Ford for maintenance and an AC repair in the winter. They did $1,200 of work on the vehicle. The first warm day of spring, I turned on the AC and it wasn't working. I brought the car back and was charged AGAIN to fix the AC. So they attempted the initial repair and never even checked to see if it was working. Fast forward a couple months to summer. On an extremely hot day, I got in my car and SURPRISE! AC was not working again. This will now be the third time in six months that I have had to have the AC repaired. I expect this to be free since the mistake was on them, but I guarantee they will try to invoice me for a significant amount. Additionally, the service department spoke down to us like we were idiots. They said "well of course it isn't working, the sensor is broken!" as if I'm supposed to know that. Very frustrated with Family Ford's service all around. I am convinced that they intentionally do cheap fixes with hopes that you will have to return and pay them again. Avoid them at all costs. Just about every other Ford dealer in the area is better.

      While I absolutely love my new vehicle I do think that the sales person should have had more knowledge on the vehicle's features than what he stated the vehicle was equipped with. I was told by him that the vehicle had under the seat storage but that is not true for the model that I purchased. I was also told the vehicle had a portable table but again not true theses features are for the bigger model. These and some other little perks I was excited about but did not get. I was dissapointed after purchase to find out my vehicle was falsely represented and did not have them. I still love my BRONCO ! It took me forever to figure out how to use the GPS system with my phone as the fuse was blown in the vehicle. And the sales person did not know how to use the system . While sitting at ***** **** ****** ( I am from *** )waiting to get an inspection sticker an employee from family ford Enfield came in to get an inspection sticker for a vehicle someone purchased from family Ford, I asked oh that's funny how come I am here getting my own and you are here getting a vehicle inspected for someone. The answer I got was it all depends on who you are this is for a friend of the owner so I guess my money is not as good as the friend of the owner. I also left a bag In the back of the car I traded I called the next day to retrieve it but was told there was no bag over there My mistake I should have checked before leaving the car. The turnaround for getting my vehicle was wonderful. I just wish that what the salesman had said the vehicle had to offer was true. If your not sure dont say it.

      Last August I took my **** **** ****** to FFE for a misfire issue. I also had leaky A/C, a faulty horn unit and they replaced my driver side airbag per recall. Charges were around $1100. I was told I needed a rebuilt engine. Cost? $6100. With NO other work performed, my truck passed inspection and is running well. MY A/C continues to leak and I have a rattle in my steering wheel from when they replaced the airbag or the horn. They also sent me down the road with an un-latched hood. If anyone has $7200 they would like to throw away, just take your vehicle to Family Ford of Enfield and they'll be happy to help. (or "take a look at it" as they like to say). Last week I had a text session with a Ford rep from ********** who was clueless and ended the session when I asked why Ford was trying to charge me $6100 (and probably more) to replace a good working engine, saying someone from Ford would contact me. They haven't.

      Purchased a 2013 ******** *** ******* with the mid grade extended warranty, having Steven F********* for salesperson. Remote start wasn’t working as well as an ignition issue. Took over 2 weeks to get it in for servicing with numerous back and forth all while my concerns were being ignored/forgotten and disgustingly belittled. The entire shifter had to be replaced! Within the 3 month or 3,000 mile warranty with their dealership, my trunk was stuck shut due to trunk flooding. I called them to rectify this and was rudely brushed off and told to go through ********* Trunk latch had to be replaced in order to even evaluate the issue. Turns out my rear gate lift modulator was FRIED needing replacement all due to drain holes being plugged because this SUV wasn’t properly cleaned/serviced. That was $1,800+ since the extended warranty was useless. Just in February this year ahead of the first snowfall of winter, my main catalytic converter and exhaust had to be replaced due to severe wear and tear such rusting and loosening, that was $1,200. I’ve been stuck with this mess of a vehicle for 10 months only and already over $3,000 I have had to put into it. This should not be an expense of a new owner had this dealership properly inspected and repaired this vehicle ahead of selling. I have never had a poor experience working with previous auto dealerships. As a single mother, homeowner, full time employee and college student… I cannot continue to afford such expenses and am looking into replacing this disaster of a vehicle. This place is absolutely awful, I’ve never been so disappointed in a business. Zero stars from me.
