On or around the end of October beginning of November there was a wind storm in ******* ***s. We lost our power at *** ******** ** ******** ****** ****** The electric company Eversource attempted to restore power within a reasonable time, however they failed to clear debris from power lines connected to our house, there fore creating a power surge for both my home and our neighbors home. We had to call them again and again until eventually resolved, by that time it was too late and it shorted out my electronics approx 2800.00$ worth of appliances and electronics, furnace, stove, microwave, clocks x box, etc... I have submitted a claim with Lynn D******** at Eversource, claim *********, 1-************ she stated she is working on it but have not received a e mail or phone call in two months this is frustrating and left me with no heat, refridgerator, My homeowner ins paid for stove only I dont know where else to turn for help. Early Oct 2021 water started flowing up and out of our underground main electric supply conduit at the house/meter. We contacted Eversource, and asked visiting Eversource technician if recent installation of fence posts across conduit route may have caused problem. This was dismissed and attributed to high ground water levels. Water ingress continued and worsened over subsequent weeks. Eversource line crews visited in early/mid November; fence post breaching underground conduit suggested to blame. Eversource stated they would schedule Call Before You Dig (CBYD) to mark underground lines as next step. Eversource did NOT subsequently schedule CBYD, so we (homeowners) did. CBYD markings on November 17 showed electric conduit in direct line with fence post. Eversource area engineer (Eric W****) gave us two routes forward: (1) Eversource would attempt initial 'fix' with spray foam conduit sealant and no investigation of conduit or mains cable damage (leaving metal fence post of main gate - touched daily by homeowners - at risk of becoming electrified) (2) We (homeowners, fencing contractor, our excavating contractors) prove that conduit damage has occurred via excavation of fence post Given impending winter ground freeze, we excavated fence post / conduit and confirmed damage on Nov 23. (Eversource could/would not provide disconnection to improve the safety of this excavation, suggesting we could wait up to 3 weeks.) It's now 2+ weeks since nature and extent of conduit damage was documented, communicated, and written up as a work order by Eversource with a promised resolution of 15 business days. No response to ask to repair with private contractors. Calling Eversource today I was told: (1) Of three work orders, one may be associated with an incorrect street address (2) Work orders are on hold for scheduling waiting for Call Before You Dig marking (already performed on Nov 17th) (3) Work order numbers provided give no results on Eversource tracking website

We currently have pole right next to our house on the road, that was damaged during bad weather a year ago. After complaining to Eversource several times new pole was brought up and placed next to the old one, however electrical wires were never transferred to the new pole. New pole was also never wrapped properly which caused fire and new pole burned down and was cut by fire department. Several months later after me following up with Eversource for update and resolution nothing was done. For the past year we've lost neutral twice as the electrical cables just keep snapping as they also attached temporarily. Police is being called each time to redirect the traffic as electrical wires are hanging to close to the road. Every time Eversource comes hooks up the wires back up and leaves promising that new pole will be installed. Now year later still no new pole. At this point every time there is high wind and bad weather whole pole is moving back and forth and it does create now safety issue for all the passing cars, people walking by, and us leaving in the house, as we can loose power at any time, loose neutral again at any time, or the pole can easily snap and fall down on our house. Pole that currently holed the wires is not safe, cracked at the base and burned. so far no resolution from the Eversource only promises for a year.

We apologize for the delay in completing this job.  Our Line Supervisor has contacted the customer and confirmed the schedule for the change of pole and assured the customer that the pole is deemed safe.  The crews will also repair the customer's meter socket.

I have paid Eversource a fee of 1500.00 to install gas in our home and it has been 1.5 months of a wait time and no one can tell me an install date. Heating this home is a necessity for this winter and cannot be without it. Multiple calls and emails; all to no avail. Claim no staff. Heat is essential in the northeast in the winter, and you should NOT take my money and no schedule. The service address is ** *** **** ******* ** ******  It is an investment property that needs to be heated.

      Dear Better Business Bureau:

Please advise Mr. *******, a service install is required and that will be worked completed on December 11, 2021 (weather permitting).

After the service is installed, the customer will need to have their gas piping inspected by the local Plumbing Inspector and then call Eversource for the meter installation once the inspection is completed.

      Very truly yours,

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

      Ms. M*****,
Eversource needs to reach out to me via telephone, leave a message if i do not pick up and confirm 11 DEC 2021 install date.  While you are an office representative of the company, so has everyone else that has been fielding my multitude of calls / emails.  There have been too many dead ends and wasted time (mine) regarding this gas service and eversource "customer service".

Ms. M*****  I'm not signing off on anything until the work has been performed.  This matter will need to stay open until your company follows through with their work.  Eversource knows how to cash a check and "yes" the customer, but i need things taken care of.

This matter will be closed when the service has been performed.  Payment has been cashed and i have waited long enough.  Enough with the games.

      Sincerely,

      **** *******

On or about November 2018 I lived at *** ******* ****** ******* ** ***** and had the Eversource Electric Bill in my name. When I left *** ******* ****** I had an outstanding balance of $589.97. When I moved to *** this bill was transferred to my new electric account at *** ******* ****** Account # **** *** ****. Ihave already spent hours on the phone with Eversource trying to resolve this issue to no avail. I am done trying to reach this company. Some sort of intervention needs to be done. They are taking advantage of customers and trying to get double payments. I received this collections notice from ****** approximately 4 days ago . They contend they recently received the bill from Eversource November 12th 2021. And, in 45 days from the day they received it they are going to start reporting it to the credit bureau and ruin my credit. I appreciate anything you could do on my behalf. ****** ****** ********* LLC 7831 Glenroy Rd, Suite 250A Minneapolis MN 55439 phone 888 228-4840 ****** *********** Account #************ As I write this complaint I am speaking to Ben from Credit and Collections at Eversource Electric.
