      NEVER purchase a warranty if this company backs it, they will do everything in their power to avoid fulfilling the terms of their warranty. I bought a warranty when I bought the refrigerator and called EPIC Protect when it failed. Two weeks later they finally sent someone out. Because I had left the refrigerator unplugged overnight, the coils defrosted, the unit started working, and the technician threw up his hands and wouldn't even look at the COVERED refrigerator. And he told me to call them back if it failed again. As you can imagine, about 7 days later, the problem returned (not cooling). Approximately two weeks later, they sent someone else out to "repair" the unit. This person looked at the refrigerator, called the manufacturer for support, pushed a few buttons, and ordered a control module. Parts showed up two days later, they scheduled a repairman to come out and install the parts for 10 days later. They then canceled on me and rescheduled a technician four days later so that would be next week if they even show. I have a negative amount of confidence they are going to show up at all. Mind you, at this point, we had lost a lot of food and spent tons of money on ice and food going back and forth to the store. They offer $300.00 to replace what was lost but that won't begin to cover it. I will NEVER buy an appliance warranty again if it's covered by this company or any other third party. We were out of service for five weeks before I solved the problem myself. You can call the main line and get someone but that's as far as you can go. All I can say to this company is thanks for nothing and I'd gladly join a class action lawsuit if it helps recover the cost of the warranty. These people are scammers, no more, no less. I gladly give them a negative rating but will settle for a one-star since that's the lowest you can go. And if they do show up next week, I'll be anywhere else.

      Bought an ** refrigerator in 2020, added a 5 year warranty plan from ****. In August 2024 the refrigerator failed and I call Epic for service. I got a run around from them for 2 days before they connected me with a local service company. They had me wait for 6 days before sending a service tech, who spent 5 minutes looking at it and said a circulation fans was the problem and one would have to be ordered, then he left. I was contacted by the service company and told they had to get OK from **** before they could order the part and I got no *** on how long that would take. At that point I'd had enough and told them to forget it. I called a local repair service. An Epic warranty is useless, they are a terrible company.

      Paid for Warranty for a Kenmore French Door refrigerator through ******* The freezer part of the refrigerator keeps failing. Have had their technicians out to the house for the same repair 3x. It was a fan 3x. The last tech said Epic cannot get the part anymore so they will reimburse us. Well 3 months in-no refrigerator refund just a complete runaround by **** and *******. ******* still does not work. Lost a lot of food but still NOTHING from Epic or ******* my warning-do not buy any appliances at Howards and Never buy any appliances anywhere if the use Epic Protect. They had no problem taking our money to buy a new refrigerator and then to stick it to us for the last three months or we can even put anything in the freezer and ignoring phone calls and texts and emails. This is a waste of time and we are through with them. We are considering suing them because of how weve been treated and how theyve just forgotten about us. I guess if they figure if we go away, they dont answer then they dont have to deal with us.

      Dishwasher broke in may. First repair visit May 22. June 14 dishwasher deemed unrepairable. I have called and agents say they will call back and they NEVER do. One said she would send e mail to supervisor and he would call NEVER DID. Now in my claim all important dates have been removed. DO NO BUY THEIR WARRANTY Nothing but terrible customer service ??

      EPIC IS THE WORST...Have had andEPIC IS THE WORST...Have had and continue to have service repair issues on my washer. This current service debacle with Epic also involves contracting with ***** and then ***** passes it off to A&E Appliance repair. Epic contracts with ***** and ***** then contracts with A&E Appliance repair. **************** is useless as No-One Knows who's on first...Worst communication and customer service I have ever experienced for anything. OVER A MONTH AND NO RESOLUTION. ********************* HOURS ON THE ***** WITH EPIC AND ***** AND A&E AND STILL DO NOT HAVE A WASHER THAT WORKS.Have requested the ****** REPLACEMENT" and escalated to management and even though my contract states number of qualifying Repairs to be 3 - Epic refuses to honor their contract. This washer has had 3 pumps replaced and still does not work! Called Epic a few minutes ago and was told that it would take two days before they could approve another work order for repair! INSANITY!!!!
