In March 2024, BBB contacted The Performance Lab CT regarding claims in its advertising. 

Its Facebook page states "Mental Fitness Pack 'The World's Leading All Natural Products to Support Your Mental Fitness.'"  According to the BBB Code of Advertising, superlative statements in advertisements about the tangible qualities and performance values of a product or service are objective claims for which the advertiser must possess substantiation as they can be based upon accepted standards or tests. The business did not respond to BBB's request that it substantiate, discontinue, or modify the claim. 

Its website states that, with regard to the ingredients in its IV Therapy products, "All ingredients are sourced from accredited compounding pharmacies. These pharmacies are FDA registered outsourcing facilities."  The primary responsibility for truthful and non-deceptive advertising rests with the advertiser. Advertisers should be prepared to substantiate any objective claims or offers made before publication or broadcast. Upon request, they should present such substantiation promptly to the advertising medium or BBB. The business did not respond to BBB's request that it substantiate these claims.

Its website and social media pages include many health benefit claims related to the ingredients, testing, and treatments offered at the facility, including:

The business did not provide substantiation for these claims.
