The workers are great, the problem I had was with the owner. I was given a breakdown of how much the pool would cost to install, with breakdown of patio, electric, fill, pool. All was in the general ballpark except the electric. I was quoted $3500 for electric and budgeted for $4000. The electrician bill was over 10k and they were very upset the Chris had quoted their prices. This was a lot more than expected and have been paying &500 a month to electrician for a year, just about finished. Chris then told me in the spring that the winter cover would be $2000. He said it’s a solid cover your could walk on. I called in August to make appointment and they said the price went up, saying everything went up and it would be $3300. I was shocked at the amount of increase but paid the half down payment . They came to install it in September and it was a mesh cover that you absolutely can not walk on. I called to question this and was told that solid covers are no good and this is better After researching this, mesh covers are significantly less money and allow dirty water and debris to go through. This means that when pool is opened, it is dirty and takes awhile to clear. A solid cover is clean because nothing gets through. I have asked for an itemized bill several times and hane not received one. I was told it’s none of my business what they paid for the cover. They responded with putting a lien on my house. I want an itemized bill so I can pay, they just keep sending the balance of approximately $1583. I don’t know how to get this itemized bill and do t want to be penalized for not paying the balance.

Since you are saying we did a good job, and were within the pricing given to you your gripe seems to be with the electrical. Our pricing as you are told is not set in stone as the electrician and you have your own agreement. They do not work for us and you did more that just the pool. Your electrical service had to be upgraded to handle the Heat pump, you put a new shed in which you wanted wire and various other extras you discussed with the electrician that he did. He even agreed to a payment plan for you. Prices have changed in the past few years and yes most went up. At the time of ordering the cover that was the price and you gave us a deposit and new what kind of cover you were getting. At no time did we say it was a solid cover (we have never sold a solid cover in 30 years) I have sent an itemized bill to you 3 times already. You tried to say you could purchase cover on line for $500 yet you weren't comparing apples to apples. I have tried to resolve this issue with you and explain what you received for that price in detail unfortunately this is a special order cover and you can't change your mind after the cover is installed. The price on the cover was $2977 plus tax which included the cover, installation, pool closing and plugs and gizzmos with chemicals. I don't know how I can itemize this any further.
