We contacted United Rentals (Branch **** 9* **** *** *** **, on 3 separate occasions (2023/2024) and spoke with accounts payable/receivable department, to advise we receive mail from United Rentals addressed to ****** ******** *** ******** *. We explained business is not associated to our address. We purchased the home April 2021, and do not know the former owners. We reached out to United Rentals Fall 2021 to request they change the address. 3 years now we receive mail addressed to ****** ********, we cross out our address and write MOVED April 2021 and RTS (Return To Sender) on the envelope and return to Post Office. As of today's date September 9, 2024 we still receive mail from United Rentals addressed to ****** ********. United Rentals account receivable/ payable employee we spoke with we requested United Rentals remove our address from ****** ********'s account. We do not have an account with them nor any connections to ****** ******** yet get their mail. United Rentals employee said ****** ******** are 'pick up' customer and carry a zero balance, not to worry. We advised we do not want to receive any future mail addressed to ****** ******** and asked United Rentals to stop sending us ****** ********s mail. The employee said she did not see the issue and stated ****** ********s does not have an outstanding balance its a non issue. We stated the issue is we are not a customer of United Rentals, and do not want to receive mail addressed to ****** ********. We asked the employee to update the contact information for ****** ********, and stop sending us ****** ********s' mail. We continue to receive mail addressed to ****** ******** from United Rentals. ****** **** advised they have to deliver mail to address indicated and we need to contact sender of mail (United Rentals) as our attempts with ****** ******** were unsuccessful..

5/30/24 Verbally ordered 1 porta potty for 2 days over the phone with Adam L******* and Lesli. They made a mistake and ordered 2 porta pottys for 3 days. I ordered 1 for Drop off on 6/4/24 for two days which would be picked up on 6/6/24. After they were delivered on 6/3/24 (for a home fumigation), my daughter noticed the mistake. We immediately emailed the company and requested that one of them should be picked up. They did not email back. Instead, they picked up both porta pottys on 6/4/24 which left me with nothing for the fumigation. We emailed the mistake and stated we assumed we wouldn't be charged but they claim that we broke the contract and owe the full amount. They broke their own contract by picking up both on the day they were supposed to be delivered. They also chose to ignore my emails instead of try to work with me to fix the mistake. I sent all this info to my credit card company and they reversed the charges based on the evidence I provided. Now United Rentals/Reliable onsite services has given this debt to a collections company. They offered a small reduction of the cost but it's not good enough. I can provide proof if needed that both units were picked up on 6/4/24. Two neighbors witnessed the removal.

Several months ago a street in my neighborhood had to be repaved - and it was complete within approximately ~5 business days or less. It was completed MONTHS ago. During the job, United Rentals set up a portal potty (aka Port-a-John / Port-a-Potty) for the contractors to use to dispose of HUMAN WASTE on neighborhood community property in front of the club house / pool. Since then United Rentals has not come to pick up the Port-a-John that is sitting in front of the neighborhood pool on community property for MONTHS. Several people contacted them including neighbors numerous times (one person alone contacted them 5x) and even the property mgmt. co. requested United Rentals come get it. They promise they will pick it up and they don't. To clarify, this port-a-john set up by United Rentals has been sitting here for MONTHS filled with HUMAN WASTE and they will not come get it. This is VERY concerning.

On 5/31/24 called united rentals to schedule portable restroom delivery for last week of june. During this phone call I scheduled the pickup of the portable restroom for July 9th. Portable restroom dropped off last week of June 2024. Portable restroom remains on my property more than 1 week after scheduled pickup. The restroom has not been cleaned since on my property. This alone is a breach of contract. 3 weeks and no cleaning service was provided. I called july 5th, july 10th, july 11th, july 12th for pickup update. Was wither ignored, hing up on, or promised a call back with update and never received one. The restroom remains on my property in the heat and sun causing severe inconvenience and embarrassment to my family due to working from home. Clients have commented on unsanitary conditions of the restroom. This is entirely unacceptable.

I own a small landscaping business and sometimes I have to rent equipment. My last few transactions with this company have been miserable!! I just recently rented a stump grinder from them for a day rental. I return the stump grinder the next business day with the gallon of gas missing they charged me 50 extra dollars for 1 gallon of gas no big deal I guess well then the next business day they charged my account $810.60 and when I called to see what the heck was going on they said the credit me back the money they made a mistake after the fact that it sent all my bank transactions into a whirlwind of bad news. They didn’t seem to care I had to call my bank to dispute the transaction and currently waiting for my refund that should have never been. They are also good about giving equipment that doesn’t operate at full power. Save your time $ money don’t go through them!

On 12/19/2023, while getting on the highway I was behind a United Rentals truck when an object flew off the flatbed and cracked my windshield. I immediately called United Rentals @ ###-###-####- s/w a team member (name begins with a G) explained what happened moments before calling, he advised I would need to s/w the dispatcher. He attempted to transfer the call, but the line rang, no one picked up- I called 4 times- no answer. On the 4th call I asked for corporate number and was given a non-working number. Upon research, I found the correct corporate number ###-###-####- I s/w Trey who was very apologetic, took down my information and assured me that I'd receive a call in a few days. *** never received. I called back on 12/26/2023- s/w another rep- advised a third party claims rep Tiffany S*** should be calling. I received a call-explained what happened, then I was asked did I take pictures or got the truck info. I responded wow, I was only able to get the name of the company- no truck # was visible. Taking pictures while driving is dangerous and would've resulted in a car accident or a fatality . Startled to say the least by the object cracking my windshield. Tiffany responded saying you should have taken a picture or got the number off the truck. How? Blow the truck down? Wave to get their attention? The truck was traveling at a high speed and the traffic was pretty heavy. I've yet to receive any *** in regards to the safety feature. I received a criminal citation on 1/9/24 because of the damage. I'm asking for my windshield to be replaced ASAP! The crack is now going across my windshield.

Our company signed a rental agreement with United Rentals containing itemized daily, weekly, and monthly rates. We only utilized the equipment for 4 days and United Rentals wants to charge us a minimum of 4 weeks which is over double what we should be paying. After multiple efforts to dispute this invoice, we never got anywhere with anyone, and they have now sent our invoice to collections. Our cost incurred should have totaled $9,400.00 and now we have a $50,000 invoice that has been sent to collections.

Bought an excavator ** *** ******* *n November 2022 they told me it had about 5000 hrs. On it the hr meter show about 2500 hrs was told hr meter broke so they put a new one the hr meter in the onboard computer says 2500 hrs .The hydraulic pump went out had to replace, during replacement noticed several repairs that were shoddy at best. Contacted united rentals was told to sale machine. I would have to be dishonest to do that, I owe too much on it anyway. I am a small business, owner operator can't afford cost of repairs and downtime, over 3 months so far. Simply would like united rental to refund my company half the purchase price. Then it would be worth what I paid for it.
