I used the BEM tax service for 2 years. I reached out to Lisa I****** the tax rep who filed a previous year tax service for me. I reached out in regards to getting an amended return done for my 2021 year. I made a direct payment as requested to Lisa I***** via cashapp. Initially she stated that I would just need to take the amended Tax documents and send them off myself. I did this via fax and via certified mail. After about 1 month I reached out to the irs and wanted to confirm if received. It was advised that they did not have a amended return and after speaking with a supervisor, I was advised that the amended return has to be sent in via E-file. I then reached out to Lisa I***** who advised that this was not true. However, I stated okay. And had the same amended return documents faxed over by her and by me again. After about 3 weeks again. I spoke with another rep who stated that show me calling in about the amended return several times and stated that there again is no other way to do it unless Efile. I reached out to Lisa again and this time she stated to give her a few days and she would submit. I did that, and she advised me on 2/17/24 that she submitted the efile. I in the mean time, requested a tax advocate to assist. The tax advocate stated that she needed the 1040x and scheduled A forms. I received a 2nd deadline and reached out to Lisa to request my paperwork.. she did not or has not responded. The tax advocate also advised me that they still do not have a amended Efile return on file for me. While I understand that I am not Lisa only customer. I have reached out sever times within the last few months trying to fix this issue. I am now stuck with an owed amount . Again, I have never had any issues before. But at this point from being ignored multiple times I am completely done. I was advised to file a complaint with the IRS. I will also be doing that.
