    Very unprofessional and terrible customer service. I had a garage door installed on 5/11/23. Was very quiet and working great for the first couple of weeks. Then the door would go down 3/4 of the way quietly, then drop suddenly and hit payment making loud noise. I reported the issue. Someone came out to make an adjustment, and again it was working properly and closing quietly for about 2 weeks. The door then started making a louder than normal noise when closing and also started to make noise at the motor. The issue was reported and a technician scheduled to come out for “first call” (8-830 per *****). Technician arrived late, made some adjustments and then was asked to leave as I needed to close garage door and leave for work as now I was running behind schedule to make it to work in time. At this point, my contractor was contacted to look at door so he could discuss the continued issue with the technician. He called the company and spoke with the technician, who acknowledged there was an additional adjustment he could make but the owner would have to call the office to schedule. The company was contacted by phone on 6/30/23 and spoke with ***** explaining situation and work schedule and request to set up time for technician to come when contractor would be available to meet him. ***** was very condescending and said “ok well when you get with the contractor call us back “honey” to schedule and hung up before best times could be reviewed. The company was called back, spoke with ***** again and let her know I just called and she hung up before all of my questions could be answered and her reply was “we are not coming out again since you sent technician away”. I paid for a properly working product/service. This company does not stand behind their work and if you have a problem they get annoyed if they are asked to make things right.

    Overhead Door Company of Clearwater works very hard to provide excellent products and customer service.  Our relationship with ****************** began in May and ended last week.

    Throughout the installation of the new door and the two service calls after, she has sent many threatening and inappropriately worded texts.  The phone calls have not been much better.    

    Her installation was the second of the day and the time cannot be nailed down to the minute, as the first job may run long.  Although not happy with the installersarrival - not being there at EXACTLY 1pm - she was happy with her door installation (enough to refer her neighbors to us). The door passed inspection on May 30, 2023.

    Both times ****************** reported issues with her door, we sent technicians out.  Our technicians LEAVE our office between 8-8:30, going to their first call.  Her second service appointment was a First Call.  The technician touched base for the normal 20-30 minute call ahead at 8:15am. He told her he would be there in about 30 minutes.  She said she would open the garage and back her car out, but may be on a work call when he arrived so just get started.    The technician arrived at 8:50am (it took 35 minutes to drive from south Clearwater to Palm Harbor).  He made a few minor adjustments to the door and texted her to come out and show him any specific concerns.  ****************** came out into the garage yelling she did not know who he was and to get off her property. Then she said that he was supposed to be there HOURS ago and shut the garage door with him still in the garage.  He asked her to open the door so he could get his ladder out and leave. 

    Once a customer has kicked one of our technicians off their property and acted erratically,we DO NOT return.  We will not put our employees in those situations.  We explained this to her that last week and the threats of actions continued
