C&DPlumbing came to my house to fix a reported outdoor faucet leak . The manager told me on the phone that they may have to break the exterior wall of my house to simply replace the wall faucet. This is absurd as I have had outdoor leaking faucets at this house replaced in the past without damaging the walls to the house. I lost confidence in them to do the job and they promptly charged me $59 for the visit . I would never have a plumbing company that says this do any plumbing work at my house .

The customer called us to go out and look at a leaking outdoor faucet. At the time the appointment was scheduled the customer was advised of the $59 dispatch fee. Our dispatch fee is credited back if the service is performed the same day. Upon arrival and inspection of the faucet, the technician recommended the faucet be replaced due to it being outdated. We advised the customer that in replacing the faucet we may have to chip out the old one. The customer refused the service. The customer also wanted us to look at a rocking toilet. The technician advised that the proper way to address it would be to pull and reset the toilet. In doing so, we could properly inspect the wax ring and ****** to ensure they are in proper working order and do not need to be replaced. The customer stated he did not want us to pull the toilet and instead wanted us to install a shim and grout around the toilet. We explained that in order to stand by the work we perform, we have to perform it the right way, and simply could not do what he is asking. The customer refused that service as well. Being that he did not want to proceed with either repair option we offered, we proceeded to collect the $59 dispatch fee that he agreed to when he scheduled the appointment. As a licensed contractor, we adhere to ******* Plumbing code and always have our customers best interest in mind with every job we do.
