On May 6,2024 repairman ****** came to my daughters home to fix the door function in my daughters sub zero refrigerator. He said he was a certified subzero repairman. He worked on the door and said that he installed a new part and the computer needed to reset over a 24/48 hour period. Unfortunately I believed him and gave him my daughters check for $934. I called 2 days later because the door panel still wasnt working. He came back and took the door unit apart and said he had to order another part that would cost $468.99. Because I argued he reduced to 350. ****** came again on May 24 and claimed to have installed the new part but the door function still did not work. He claimed he had to check with SubZero as a 3rd part was needed I spoke to *** or Havi his boss he said who promised to have this resolved after the Memorial Day weekend. Both **** and ****** have been avoiding me since then claiming the part was on back order and they didnt know when it would be in. Today June 20, 2024 a certified subzero repairman from another Company I called. He replaced the part that ****** said he put in and showed me that new parts were never installed. The part he put in resolved the problem and the door function now works.
