I was quoted $199.99 per day for a suburban rental when I made the reservation days in advance. On the day of arrival we were not greeted with the vehicle on the ramp like we have been at the Naples location. We had to unload our own luggage and haul it into the Odyssey ***. After waiting for awhile the Go Rental employee finally came in and acknowledged us. He brought the vehicle to the *** parking lot and he stood by the vehicle with a clipboard with the rental agreement. As my family is loading their own bags into the back of the vehicle he is telling me where to initial and sign. He has me initial next to basic coverage while holding the clipboard for me to sign but never letting go for me to read it at my leisure. He never mentioned any cost associated with basic coverage or gave me the option of declining basic coverage. Well the basic coverage cost and extra $104.00 per day and there is a fee for the Odyssey *** of $76.00 per day that was also never mentioned. We have great car insurance like most people that cover you in a rental so we would have declined the $104.00 of unnecessary expenses had they been upfront and honest about their pricing. We thought we were spending $199.99 per day for two days so $400.00 plus tax and some minor miscellaneous fees. We were charged over $900.00 for a two day rental with zero ramp service. Save the money and book with Enterprise or your favorite car rental company. I am mostly upset about how this company isnt upfront and trustworthy about the actual cost of the rental. They are sleezballs and hide the extra fees from you and then hit your card with it after you turn the car back in.
