Hired them to alter a concrete pad to allow for drainage. Water collected on the patio every time it rained. They not only did not fix what I hired them for but created an additional bigger problem on the other side of the same concrete pad. They then said the problem stemmed from the initial creation of the concrete pad; not from anything they did. Not true. I had zero problem with the larger area they messed up before they started their work.

I would expect nothing less from a customer who won't listen to a professional and will not listen to reason or recommendations given to you. We informed you that the overlay we installed would only aid your issue, we did not pour the original concrete that is higher by 2in at the bottom where the water is supposed to drain. We informed you the only way to really fix this was to tear it out and repour it . You insisted you wanted an overlay and we did it. We also came back a 2nd time after you insisted that the problem wasn't as bad but still was there. We came and did a 2nd overlay which I did not recommend, instead I encouraged you to rip it out again or at the least let us cut relief joints. Again a 3rd time we came out with our laser to physically show you how the water pools and where it was higher at the ends making it physical impossible for water to run off. You are blaming us for a problem you already had and solutions that you didn't want to hear or could not afford. We were very nice not to charge you for the 2 times we came out again after you not listening to us. My foreman and my supervisor also all told you the same thing. You just didn't want to hear it. I encourage you to get a 2nd opinion. We have been around a very long time. You sir are an ignorant customer and we can't help those types of clients. We were up front we wernt cheap. You can't expect a 5000% job for 500$, we even told you that the overlay would only bring grade up ½in and you were over 2in backwards in the sloping. You need to contact who poured the original slab and not take it out on us.

I submitted a review a few days ago. The person running the company I reviewed submitted a rebuttal that contained a false account of how the events occurred. I am not going to continue this tit for tat sort of communication because I see nothing will come of it. The mistakes the owner made in his attempts to fix my issue were bad enough, but we all sometimes make mistakes. I could have forgiven that. The false story he submitted however is unforgivable. There appears to be nothing I can do about it so this is my final word on the matter. Even if he provides more lies I have a life to get back to and will no longer respond.
