All State Auto & Repair took my bus a little over 18 months ago, and gave me an estimate for around $8,000 for bus repairs. When I received the quote *** ******* the manager told me that the price was high so they wanted to make sure there were no other repairs necessary before they began working. Months went by and I called to check the status very frequently. there was a time when *** the manager was sick for sometime, and apparently a lot of people at the shop were sick so I could not get in touch with ***. I never authorized any work being done to my vehicle. They began working without my permission without a signed contract. I get word that they have completed the work, and the only thing I could think was there was no additional work needed to the vehicle and that they just proceeded on their own. When I opened the email with my final invoice around April 21, 22 it was $14,000. I spoke to *** the manger he told me there was something he could do because "I am a valued customer". I filed complaint with the ********** ** ***** *** *********** and all state did not respond. The state of Florida requires a signed contract for work to begin I never signed a contract and I want my vehicle back in its original state.
