I was started off at *** plastic surgery. The doctor left and transferred to adore, and once he transferred I paid money for surgery and a couple months later the address contact information was removed off the Internet. I just want to get the money back that I paid.Initial Complaint

I started making payment for my lift up and now they are nowhere to be find I keep calling no answer and no one has call me back. I need my money back asap. If someone is in business the business close for whatsoever reason the best thing, they could do is call everyone let them know what's going people keep calling them no answer and no call back. I didn't even know they close I has just been calling to pay it off and schedule my surgery soon they have open and to found out they close they did not even call or email people to let people know and I have been making payment to them. I am writing to you today because I have a complaint in regards to a cosmetic procedure. I found Vanity Cosmetic Surgery. On July 12th I went to the clinic and spoke with ***************************** and on this same day I paid a deposit of $1,000 upfront. She gave me a phone number ************** and a bank account ***** of America- ************] with the name ********** for Cosmetic Surgery. In said account I later deposited $200 more for said surgery. My mother became ill with Alzheimer's and I was no longer able to have the surgery. From 2015 to 2017 my mom's health worsened and in September 2017 she passed away. In 2021 they gave me an appointment to have surgery in October, But that year, on May 24, I had a work-related accident and had to postpone the surgery. The doctors, coordinators and clinic changed several times. I canceled because I didn't feel safe. The clinics have been named Vanity Cosmetic Surgery, Jolie ********************** Surgery, Avana ********************** Surgery, and lastly Adore Plastic Surgery. There have been like 3 or 4 medical changes including ***********************. I requested a refund several times on the different portals. I paid in total $6,200. I was told if I canceled I had to pay a thousand dollars. I decided to take that risk but I wanted the $5,200 back. I've sent several emails and called several times for the refund since August of last year and they tell me to wait about 22 days for the return process. When I call the number I always get told the person in charge of refunds is always busy or unavailable. The clinic is permanently closed now. I don't know what to do. I am rejecting this response because:First, the person in charge of refunds told me that they had sent someone with the check. That supposed person never arrived at my house nor did the check arrive from the mail. I never received that check because if I had received it, I wouldn't be wasting anyone's time with my complaint. The only thing I want is for the BBB not to close this complaint until I have collected my money, otherwise if the company does send a new check, the bank could reject the check and I will be left waiting for a check that bounced because the company had me waiting and waiting on a check that never arrived. The company can cancel the supposed old check and send me a new one. If I don't get my money back I will inform you, the BBB, and you will help me decide what steps I could further take in my case.

I am rejecting this response because:Adore Plastic Surgery never called me. I was contacted by Av*** Plastic Surgery. They called me on September 14, 2023 at 2:30 p.m. I spoke to someone who kept insisting that I make an appointment for surgery and told them I no longer wanted to have surgery; All I wanted was a refund and I told them multiple times. The girl who called me told me that someone else is going to call me. They never called me back and on September 19, I called them and the guy who helped me told me that he was going to check and told me that the place I had to call was Adore Plastic Surgery. He told me that he did not have the refund information and that I should call ************. I called the number and as always it turns out that they are closed. What I don't understand is if they aren't the ones who give the refund so they called me insistently to make an appointment.

She said that they would send me a new check and that they'd call me back to let me know they'd send it. It's been like a week and I haven't heard back from them or received any checks. I am still waiting until they decided to finally send it.

I am rejecting this response because:More than 3 weeks have passed since the last call I received from them (September 23, 2023). I've given them plenty of time to give me back my refund but all they do is play this back and forth game. It shouldn't take almost more than a year to receive a check. I've been waiting all this time but all they are doing is lying. Seriously, how much longer am I supposed to wait for the refund?

I booked with adore back in 2020 for surgery in January of ****. My surgeon *************** left and was nolonger working there. I was told they wouldnt give me my money back because theres other surgeons that could fulfil the job. Now the operation isnt running at all for me to communicate with anyone about what the next steps need to be. Id like and deserve a refund of my deposit money and money I put down toward the surgery.Business response

I payed my final deposit and tried to call Adore to schedule my surgery. Months no answer, no call back, no response nothing! I find out last month they have completely closed. How do I get my $6500 back!!Business response
