              I had a water heater installed by Babe's Plumbing on May 5, 2022 with the intent of it correcting a problem that resulted in stained clothing coming out of the washing machine. (Early on before replacing the water heater, I replaced my clothes washer and dryer, and had the town of North Port flush the backflow out to the street to hopefully rectify the problemto no avail). After the water heater was replaced, a Babe's plumber came back to flush out the new water heater because of a smell in the water that I was told was coming from the adhesive used on the cpvc pipes that attach to the water heater (May 16, 2022). The plumber flushed out the water heater as well as took out the magnesium rod and replaced it with a second aluminum rod. He showed me that although the water heater had only been installed the week before, the magnesium rod was already pitted. Today, May 17, 2022 I called Babe's to ask why a "new" water heater would have a pitted magnesium rod within a week of installation. The clerks that answer the phones at Babe's would not give me the name of the owner, nor allow me to speak to him. Instead, they sent me to a voice mail of Josh D., the Vice President for whom I did leave a message today. I am concerned with the water that is coming from this water heater, not to mention, I still have sediment in my washing machine, after paying Babe's $2,460 when on the same day my neighbor replaced his from another company for $1,400 with no issues. I want to know if I have a new water heater or a refurbished one because of the magnesium rod. I wonder it the original aluminum rod could also be pitted if it was removed. This is a safety/health issue in my opinion. Please assist me. Sincerely, ****** ******** XXX XXX-XXXX
