This company has little to no professionalism, and severely lacks in people and administrative skills. We spoke with the owner, requesting fence repair and replacement estimates. Before submitting both, he just decided to do the repairs on his own without submitting replacement costs first. Then, after the repairs, and finally giving replacement estimates a week later, he had us go through the homeowner approval process to replace the fence. He then invoiced us for the unauthorized repairs with a payment address that doesnt exist. After over a month of ignoring our texts and emails, he blew up on us and said the whole thing was off. Crazy. This company may do adequate fence work, I dont know, but their professionalism and complete lack of follow up is what warrants the one star rating for us.

When you first contacted us, you said you wanted the repairs done to two fences ASAP, due to damage from a storm, as well as an estimate to replace the fence for information purposes later on. I stated verbally that the cost of the repair would be $300, but I wasnt sure how soon I could work it into the schedule. You agreed. As it turned out, I was able to work it into the schedule the next morning. It was a stretch, but when I was there to take the measurement for the fences, a neighbor came out to say that her dog was getting out due to the fence being damaged and exposed, so it was a problem for her, which you had stated to me as well. So, I went out of my way to do the repair the following day. So, we did the repairs, and I emailed the invoice for it, as well as the estimates to replace the fences, which, again, according to you, was for information purposes later on. You then said that I should have sent the estimates sooner, because you wanted to decide whether to do the repair OR the replacement. That wasnt at all how I remembered it. And I know that wasnt the case, because of the issue with the neighbor and her dog. The repair was an emergency situation, to be done ASAP. But, ok. I responded by saying that if you want to replace the fences at that time, I would apply $150 of the $300 from the repair towards the replacement of the fences. You responded back and said you would have us replace the fences in the spring, but still expecting to pay $150 for the repairs. That was when I said that you can send the $150 for the repairs, but find another company to do the replacement. Which, as I think anyone would agree, is a fair response for both you and myself at that juncture. I wasnt comfortable continuing a business relationship with you at that point. I still allowed a payment of $150 instead of $300 to be made, to be fair to you as well. There are at least 200 fence companies in and around the ************ area. Its standard practice for estimates to be free. Finding another company, at no additional cost, isnt a problem. Again, I also allowed the payment of half of the original amount for the work we did to be made. Somehow, that still isnt good enough, and warrants a 1 star review? I definitely know now, from this, that I made the right decision to terminate our relationship. Also, the interactions youre referring to occurred around 10/10/22. That was six months ago, but you waited until now to submit this review.
