This is the most terrible gym I've ever encountered in my entire life. My fiancée joined to use the stair stepper but realized it was broken on day #1. She tried to quit but they simply wouldn't let her. Co owner Monica was extremely rude and had my fiancée in tears. I called twice and they told me that they would send an email with cancellation instructions. Email never came. I called again and they sent it again. Still no email. No it wasn't in my spam folder either like they kept saying. I go into the gym in person. This time they give me a paper print out with instructions. Once I got to step #4 of the instructions, the online cancel link took me to a PDF that said you MUST fill out paperwork in the gym to cancel. Unreal. So still going around in circles at this point. So I went back into the gym to fill out the paperwork. The owner Larry then appeared and said he couldn't believe my fiancée would cancel over broken equipment. He said it would be fixed in 6 days but there is a global supply chain issue. I agreed and said "if there's a global supply chain issue, how can you promise me it'll be fixed in 6 days"? Larry then says "are you calling me a liar"? He comes around the counter and gets in my face. Then he lunges and swings at me.

Wow! Let me begin by saying that most of this is completely made up. I would assume, that if you actually stood by your actions, there would be no reason for you to lie about the details of the incident. With that said, apparently you don't stand by your actions. You didn't mention the fact that we had to call the Sheriff's Office and have you trespassed from the property because you refused to leave. Let me point out that you were not, nor have you every been a member, and your girlfriend was only a member for one day. Our policy is that we only discuss memberships with the member. I spoke with you as a courtesy, in an attempt to help the situation.. I could go in to great detail explaining what the process is for cancelling a membership and why that process is important for both parties, but you didn't want to listen Monday and I'm certain you aren't interested in learning today either. I could also point out the various lies that you included in your review, but none of that is important right now. Therefore I'll only address the end result, which consisted of you becoming verbally aggressive and me advising you to leave the property. Once a business asks you to leave the property, you have crossed the line and it's time to leave the property. You didn't, and only became more verbally aggressive. I understand you just moved from California and you think that aggressive mob rule is the way to achieve goals, but that's not how we handle stuff in Florida. At no time did anyone attempt to "swing" or strike you. This incident was completely avoidable had you just allowed me to assist you without being a disrespectful jerk. See, we strive to provide great customer service, but respect is a two-way street. I've never allowed untruthful bullies to spread lies and I'm not about to start today, integrity is like virginity; you can only loose it once. It's interesting how you always come back with the same remark that the bad reviewer must be a liar . My fiancé was never told she had to handle it herself and how could she when your wife was extremely rude to her and hung up the phone . I called the police. I sat outside and waited for officer Gage to arrive , So it's very interesting how you keep saying that you did and I was issued a trespassing warning . No warning was given except the verbal agreement that we would never want to go there ever again and all we had wanted was for her membership to be canceled. . The police told me they watched the camera and I could of pressed charges if I wanted to . The one thing I regret is not reading the reviews before we went into your gym . We would of never contemplated joining a gym that has such terrible reviews . People need to be warned about how you handle your business . Good luck to you .
