On November 16,2021, I had made a purchase of a king size mattress and protector and queen size mattress and protector from Hudson Furniture at 9539 South Orange Blossom Trail Orlando, Fl 32837 (407-857-3355) from Chad B***** the salesman. My total came up to $2,619.86. I had made a payment of $2,000 and my balance was then $619.86. On November 17, 2021 I was notified by Chad that the King Mattress I ordered was not available and he would be able to replace the mattress with another for the SAME price. On December 7, 2021 I went to the store to make the final payment and when I was told my balance, it was suddenly $1400. I asked the salesman at the time that this was wrong and he redirected me to Chad because he was the one who placed my order. When I got onto the phone with Chad, he then admitted that my total was actually $1700 which was not what I knew it should be. I then requested for a refund and was declined for no given reason other than it a "special order" which it was not. The mattress I ordered was not part of a deal. The order has not ship out to me and it is still at their warehouse. And I'm out of $2,000. I am very disappointed in the customer service of this location and company. After this encounter, this will most definitely be last time shopping from the company.Business response

May 31, 2021 Order # XXXXXXXX $ 3,056.94 Deposit charged $652.00 refund requested 12/12/21 Order was shipped to a different customer for replacement...now we have to wait until 2025 If we want the bedroom set. Verbally assaulted after requesting the refund Felt discriminated as a Hispanic female by a male so called Store Manager William AKA Bill. Called the 'B" word in front of other customers and employees on the sales floor. He pushed me out of his store and he said he did not care.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 15, 2022/05/18) */ I apologize for the delay in responding to this complaint. After reviewing the notes on the order, it appears that this complaint has been resolved. The Regional Manager for the Ormond showroom communicated with the client multiple times and the bedroom furniture was delivered on 04/22/22.
